Peter Molyneux is an idiot

Off Topic: I saw a horse-riding game in the shop yesterday, obviously aimed at little girls, but on the box it said something along the lines of: "real choices and consequences. What you do on the ranch will affect the way your foals are reared etc." It just struck me as bizarre considering the debate about shallowness in gaming these days and whatever. Probably more c&c in that then the entire Elder Scrolls series, too.

The term "choice and consequence" has become very popular since that idiot that makes Fable adopted it.

BN, never speak bad of Monsieur Molyneux! Never!

I would never speak ill of that great war hero, John Molyneux.

As for Peter Molyneux. I would not speak ill of him if he hung up his hat in 1997. However, since he didn't, post-1997 Peter is a retarded game maker that's an insult to the industry. I can't help it, it's his fault.

Fable! Fable was great! It wasn't a deep RPG, (or maybe it wasn't one at all) but it was a very, very, fun game. Black and White, also very fun.

Leave Peter Molyneux alone! </annoyingfuckingmemestopusingityoudumbasses>

Meh, mediocrity left and right. Pure squandering opportunities for cheap hype and sales.

Unless you want to argue Wii Sports and Halo 3 are amongst the greatest games of all time, the fact that it is a lot of fun doesn't really factor into any equation.

It makes it an enjoyable game, regardless of whether or not it has a good story or mechanics or whatever.

I really liked Powermonger (1990). And Populous II (1991). And Syndicate (1993). And Dungeon Keeper (1997) was OK.

Really? Whether or not a game is fun doesn't factor into any equation?

:(

You changed what you said, because you are a villain, a landscaper of deceit, but I'll let it slide.

I didn't really play and Bullfrog games, except the two Dungeon Keeper games, which were pretty fun.

I like that Lionhead has an art style other than "OMFG REALISM". (On that note, Crysis kind of doesn't look that good.)

No I didn't.

Then you have no right to discuss this topic. In fact, you have little right to breathe.

Stan Lee was never a great writer.

Exactly!

If Stan Lee was in charge of this website, it'd be horrendous!

"Greeting True Believers! Tonights update features the Tyrannical Todd Howard being beaten horribly by our Beloved Brother None! 'nuff said! EXCELSIOR!"
