Pipboy shirts

My T-Shirt is under way! It cost me 15€ at a local "t-shirt printing company", however they didnt have the right blue shirt to go with. So i had to take the black fruit of the loom- t-shirt.

Many thanks for the images! They fit really nicely to the shirt!

Well someone dug this so i could see it.
Kinda old but, i like the blue on the shirt very much, hard to find good t-shirts with that blue ;_; at least where i live.

The thirtheen is awesome but i got to say that the large face on the front doesnt appeal me.

Maybe a small face in one of the sides (you know over our boob muscle (ihihihih)) would do the trick. Or some image from a perk in the middle, at least someone doing something so people could look and read a message, not just see a big head.

Other than that love the colors. Nice effort.

BUMP!

So. I'm looking for a hi-res, accurate depiction of the "13" sign at the back of vault suits. Optimally, it should be in vectors or in a res higher than 300dpi.

Does anybody have one?

I could whip one up with AutoCad and save it out as .dwg or .dxf format. If you use Illustrator it should be able to import either one.

Looking over the thread though, I'm confused about the shape of the 1.

The best source I can think of this sec is the end movie from FO1, but the part in question is covered by the shoulder armor.

Come to think of it, I have a vector BoS logo somewhere too.

Edit:
Took a shot at it, based on the FO1 end movie. I noticed the "3" was wrong in both the pics above. I uploaded "13_vector.rar" which includes .dwg and .dxf, along with a .bmp screenshot for those without means to view vector-based formats. However, I'm fairly sure I didn't point the file upload to any particular subject, so it may be in Limbo.

Cool.

So, uh.

Where is that .RAR file? If you have it on your drive, could you contact me via PM?

I'm fairly sure the vault suit's 13 is the same as seen on Vault 13's door.

I don't have any PM set up currently. I uploaded the .rar to NMA, but it doesn't appear in the Files section yet. If it didn't work...I can try again or email. It's just 9 KB.

This occurred to me at 3 am. Like it always does, whatever "it" is. But I think I had my 1 right the first time. The thing is, on the vault door, it's squashed down in the vertical axis. Same as in the opening b&w cartoon of Vault Boy waving.

To expound on trivia for a moment, my guess is that the 13 on the vault suit was drawn first, since the angled parts of the 1 are at (almost exactly) 30 degrees from horizontal, and the angles on the 3 are at (almost exactly) 60 degrees from horizontal. Anyone who has drawn with a T-square and drafting triangles will see the significance. Especially a "righteous draughtsman".

Thanks, Vault Maker.

But, say. The "1" is fine, but the three's bottom looks kind of weird, although it's the same as in the screen. Could you give us two versions, one with the cropped 3, another one like the one you posted a few posts back?

Also, it'd be great to have those in uncompressed .PNG's, PSD's or another format that could be read without the need of architectural software ;-)

Sorry, never done any stricte technical drawings.

You mean where the 3 is clipped on the left side at the end of the loop? I ddin't like that so much either, though it does give it a certain character. No problem to change.

Illustrator will import dwg and dxf since many versions back. I can get someone at work to save a .psd (via a...path? for Illustrator, then bring it in to Photoshop...or something). That would probably be best, since Autocad isn't great at creating high-res raster files except through 3D rendering.

Expect a fresh upload Thurs or Fri. I'll put the BoS logo in there too, since I found it.

Oh, well. I'm a draughting grognard. The last of the dinosaurs where I work. But you're still a righteous draughtsman.

They're good but why don't you print something more interesting than that?
Don't get me wrong, but I'd find it kind of a waste to print out a t-shirt with cat's paw and made in new reno instead of printing some cool characters or something else, there are plenty of great stuff in the fallout universe.
Just my opinion, hope you don't take offence, the T-Shirts are nice.

I'd make one with the master or BOS if I could.
