Placing mines on NPC spawns

The other day I realized I could just place some mines where Chavez and his gang were going to spawn, to my delight when I came back I heard an explosion, earned 60xp, and found a badly wounded Chavez.
I then did this to the stranger at jean's sky diving and am planning on doing it to Elijah.

What are some other notable/useful spawns I can trap in this fashion?

Ultralux assassins (guards included), the Gomorrah goons they send to stop Carlito from escaping with what's her name, all the sentry bots in REPCONN HQ, 60% of Big MT spawns, honestly there's a ton of them.

Had similar idea, so here are some targets:
-Tabitha after repairing Rhonda
-Nightkin from Novac
-Legion troopers that spawn when you recover supplies for Camp Hope
-Freeside thugs
-Orris' pals
-Olivier at the end (haven't checked that one)
