If so, I think Fargo would know more about that as it was meant to be an official sequel to Wasteland

I know they had a few other games planned but they fell through.

But it wasn't. :/ The GECK is basically a hoax.

I dont think it would be a hoax, just some good survival kit sold like a miracle... like a kit of seeds , holotapes and some instrumental, (4 analize things, like water, or terrain)

However, that does not explain that "suddenly" new arroyo rises (looking that the lands were unsustainable 4 farming, and the villages alive at the F2 ending was probably a low number.)

Well, as far as I am aware, it was never said the new Arroyo is at the same place as the old Arroyo. It could as well be that the tribesmen, lead by the (probably) more knowledgeable Vault 13 people simply went somewhere else. Alternatively: It is never said how many years it took to build the new Arroyo. The ending screen could be 50 years later.

In any case, I never expected it to be there just right after the player destroys the Enclave.
