Far Cry 2 doesn't look nearly as good as it did back when it first came out.

With that said, I don't understand why this game did not get a much higher score. Despite some flaws, it's one of the few modern shooters which are actually interesting.

Urg, I hope with "as does the gameplay" you only mean the gunplay / open world. I still have nightmares of all that senseless, annoying and stupid running over the worldmap from one end to the other, killing villages full of people every five minutes. It could have been a really good game, but they decided to fuck it up with a shitty story and letting the player travers a million miles for every stupid fetch quest.

That, and the fact that outposts respawn after 10 seconds. When I kill an outpost, I don't want to find it full of enemies again after a brief walk down the road. Give me a few in game days at least.

Yeah, I meant gun play. Gameplay's fine in my opinion, but could use more focus. At the same time, I don't mind respawning enemies. Gives a lot of opportunity for indulging the killer in me. Particularly when you get the Mk 19. Hearing enemies scream and run as the explosions erupt around them is priceless.

Graphics are damn good in my opinion, considering that the entire game weighs around 7-8 GB total.

I did not get far before aborting and started killing some people in MP.. But hey, BF3 is not famous for it's single player part.

The Secret World, an mmo that's gone f2p and is actually free to play all the base game which is a rarity among free to play mmos.
Got a new processor so can actually play it without lagging and no more expensive sub fees, all good.
Includes conspiracy plots, Cthulhu, Illuminati and chums, monsters, magic and a couple of berks in CDC suits dancing about.
Currently an anniversary event so a good time to try it out if interested.

Decided to start up BS2 and i'm quite impressed so far. They fixed most of the bad things about the first game but the game does lack the atmospher from the first one. All and all it is a great game.. Must get the third one soon!
