quest: ED-E My Love (spoilers)

so I'm having problems with this quest. I got the quest even before repairing ED-E and picking him/her/it up, can't remember from where. the quest simply states to bring ED-E to the Gibson Scrap Yard, but nothing happens when I do so. and I have no new dialogue options when talking to the lady there.

any ideas? am I missing something? reason I'm not googling this is because when I first did, I happened upon spoilers right away. rather be asking here when I can get the information I need and nothing more.

I can't offer much help other than saying I think it's a bug. I've been hearing more bug reports on ED-E's triggers being broken. It's supposed to trigger right after you talk to the old girl.

Yeah, all the keyword triggers activate during dialogue with certain characters. When the conversation ends, you should automatically focus in on E-DE who plays an audio log. Sounds like a bug. :\
