7/10, thought it easily would've been an 8 if I happened to be gripped by a momentarily more Pumpkinous humour, myself.

Instead, I find myself in one of those strange manias that come upon me now and then and foster in me some wholly foreign interest in going out and discovering what the kids are listening to these days. In my defense, I'm always smart enough to seize on the first mildly promising band or single I find and go scurrying away with it like a squirrel with an acorn rather than risking exposure to any more pop radio than is absolutely necessary. Here's what this year's expedition turned up:

I like upbeat, sunshiny music every now and then, okay? Because I'm a pleasant, positive person. And if you've got a problem with that, you can go forcefully shit yourself inside out and I hope your quivering, inverted skin is worn around hell for all eternity as a decorative poncho by a demon composed mostly of dog vomit and rusty razor blades.

OneRepublic is the cancer that kills the world.
0/10. I hate that song. Mostly because I listne to pop-radio every morning to wake up, and this song gets played to death.
Whenever I want upbeat, poppy music that just makes me smile, I listen to Katzenjammer.

Katzenjammer - pretty good actually - 8/10

6/10

Metal isn't really my thing, by no means bad though.

I'm not going to listen because cartoon network raped me with it at one point in time. Middle finger is my rating.

I hate Courtney Love - but the song isn't too bad - 7/10

Now it's her husbands turn.

What happened to the Courtney Love song?

Lol, changed the song cause it was probably gay. Oh well.

80/10 for yay memories. I haven't heard that song in like thirteen years.

Here, have an awesome concert by the grand gourds.

8/10, and it might have been a 9 if I wasn't so weirded out by seeing Corgan with hair.

In return, you get some Depeche Mode, deftly remixed. Don't ask me why the uploader thought it would be a good idea to have you stare at an EVE Online still for eight minutes, though.

Haifa Wehebe. Depending on who you ask shes either a total whore or a breath of fresh air.

The sensible compromise would be for everyone to agree that she's a total breath of fresh whore. As to the song... 5/10? Not something I'd listen to on my own, but not lacking in talent. It probably helps that I don't understand a word of what she's saying. I love listening to music in languages I don't know. It frees you up to really focus on the aural interplay. Kind of a poor man's Sigur Ros, if you will.

On that subject, it so happens that I can't speak more than four words of Korean, either:

(If you don't feel like sitting through the intro bit, the song gets going around 1:20).

Confusing, 5/10

It's just a wee bit too bland for me. It kinda just meanders around

Song from the good version of American Beauty

Oh come on Sabirah, you can't always listen to that popish stuff. Here, let me help you:

Hmm. I really like it. It has an old rustic feel to it. Like something made during the Harlem Renaissance

Okay here is something non poppy. the only song That wasn't an instrumental or Irish they play at my wedding.

That happens to be one of my favorite songs off of Crane Wife, which I would say is a strong contender for their best album. Ten thumbs up.

Here's one in tribute to AskWazzup. (I can only imagine that this is the version he's quoted in his signature, and not the lowbrow "rappity-dap" free-verse by that criminal and known street ruffian Eric Lynn Wright.)

I laughed the entire length of that :D. Does this dude do parodies of rap like this all the time?
