That's some classic 70s stoner rock. I honestly haven't listend to much Jethro Tull before, but I like it. I'll give it 7/10, but I might give it 8/10 for someone willing to listen to it the right way, which means getting really baked and slouching on a bean bag chair.

EDIT: After reading the history of Thick As A Brick I up my score to a solid 8/10. Pretty funny, even though the joke went completely over my head:

I'll counter with this one: Machine Gun by the Band of Gypsys. I love this for several reasons. It's from a New Year's Eve show at the Fillmore East in NYC, and I always think of this tune and the album of that show as the musical beginning of the 1970s. Also, this album is the best example of Band of Gypsys, which is the best Jimi Hendrix there is, in my opinion. It's Jimi and his army buddy Billy Cox on base, with Buddy Miles on drums instead of Mitch Mitchell. As a group they have a much more blues/soul sound than The Experience.

I don't hate that. I don't listen to that kind of music much anymore, but (and this may seem like a stretch) it reminds me a little of when I used to listen to The Exploited when I was a teenager. I'll toss it a 7/10.

I give you "I'm Glad You're Mine" by Al Green from 1972:

I've always been neutral when it comes to AG. Some of his shit I like, other songs...... *waves vertical hand*

As for this one, I'd have to say 7.2/10.

Ignore the damn DJ at the beginning. He's a great musician, but he doesn't shut up sometimes.

And....

AND... it's remix.

I don't love that stuff, sorry. I guess it's just not my kind of thing. 6/10.

Bags Groove - Miles Davis and friends:

Miles Davis is awesome. Some of his stuff is a little too slow for me though. I know it's called Soft/Slow Jazz for a reason, but....

This song: 7.8/10 (five points just for being Miles Davis. Nearly three more points for being a good song. The rest gets deducted because of my own personal tastes, this is one of his slower songs).

I like that. It's rather spagetti-western-ish. I could picture a western cRPG with that as the opening music. 8/10.

There's something nice about a foxy chick who can sing and play bass:

The first one is soothing as hell, but the second one not so much. It's really well played and the speed must surely require a lot of skill, but I don't dig the sound much.
