Rate the above song but this time its video game osts

7/10
It's good. It's rather repetitive; though this is not uncommon for game & tv music that is meant to fill the background behind the action.

Soundtrack from the TPS FAKK-II

7/10 too much Rockstar Ahh Ninja bastard. 7/10 Too much Metal.

Earthbound has the funkiest music.

29 minutes of catchy tune where one cannot tell the difference in the melody in segments each six minutes apart. That's too much of a good thing.

7/10

And yet here is one similar that I like.

7/10 because RTS tunes are usually good. But hey man I go to sleep to that looping 30 minute song, so I had to post it. If it makes you go into a trancelike state - I can dig it.

Yes, this was a song at one point, but this version was altered greatly.

I go to sleep to this; no joke. ;)

Also quite often to these; they are played by my screensaver [Marine Aquarium 3]

*This one is only a minute and a half long. I just found this 30 minute loop. 8-)

8/10 Very cool.

Speaking of modified works, here is a modified version of the above track:

For some reason I liked modified a bit better.
8/10 for normal version, 9/10 for modified

Ok, no music from me this time, but that sounds suspiciously like some songs off the Queen of the Damned soundtrack. Check it out sometime.

10/Hexen!

It's from the game Machinarium. Your character is the little dancing robot. It's only accessible in the game after you solve all of the problems that prevent the band from playing.

I think we own this thread now. Heretic is so underrated. Especially the music.

8/10

I think Duke has some damn good tunes too. These kids nowadays just don't know what they are missing.

That one goes up to 11.

Probably my least favorite of the 90's FPS hits. I am tempted to post Blood and Quake but those would be expected. Why not....

The most underrated of the original series.

I always liked Shadow Warrior's OST; I posted RR's OST first, but that one can't really qualify, because it's made up of pre-existing songs—I think.

Blood is my all-time favorite shooter—as yet unsurpassed IMO... and I like the music, but it didn't seem overly stand-out IMO.

I dunno what to make of the RE sound track. There is nothing wrong with it, but it didn't sound very evil until the 1:22: mark. It sounds like it could be included in the Dawn of War OST; or Might & Magic series...

Redneck Rampage is on my Mixtape to this day.

The Resident Evil series was more action by that point.

Populous went downhill around the third game sadly. Music is good though. 7/10

Now this might seem like two old fucks just posting obligatory old games but these are good soundtracks imo. Mortal Kombat crackled in the ARCADES. Remember those things? No, not Dave and Busters. ARCADES. *sobs in corner*

But really screw MK2.
