Kotario: 9.5/10. Damn nice drawing. Did you do it yourself?

As for why it's a T-shirt... I just googled "Our Friend the Atom" and also looked through Google images with same search criteria... I vaguely remember seeing some wonderfully, idiotically naive educational film about atomic power. Was hoping to find a picture from the film or maybe a moving GIF... gave up after 15 min. and settled for the shirt.

7/10. Not too bad, but not the greatest either.

Elissar:
You are in the Air Force, right? Is that an Air Medal on your avatar? Were you awarded with one? Congratulations if that is the case, you must be very proud of it.

BulletBait - 5/10 Great historical refrence... but the T-shirt results in a loss of points....

LTC Gonzalez - 7/10 Good overall, A subject near and dear to my heart... But the fact that that soldier has his hand on the upper half of the barrel shroud in the standing position suggests to me that he is fireing burst (hand on the upper barrel shroud to arrest muzzle climb) While a good idea for burst... Does nothing for accuracy beyond 50-100 meters...

And to respond to your comments... Air Force??? WTF??? You're thinking of Tone Capone (He went Airforce OCS and is now an Airforce Butter-Bar)

I myself am a US Army Aviation CH-47D (Chinook) Crew Chief... and yes, I was just recently awarded the Air Medal for my actions in Iraq.

Holy shit... is this the longest post in this thread?

Hi, some pretty good avatars in this thread!

Personally I dislike animated avatars, and large sigs.
It detracts from the content of your post.

Also I don't like to use the standard library of 'cool' avatars that are out there on the net, why bother when you can wip something up in 5mins that means something to you.

Thanks, I drew it free hand from a photograph. Except I don't have a monocle.....yet.

8 - Purely because SaladFingers is probably the most brilliantly twisted piece of Flash ever. It would be better without the jpg artifacts though.

4. 'eh, you can likely guess what I have to say about it.

I never did understand why people like SaladFingers, I doubt I ever will. Of course, it proves too much to ask for people to read China Miéville, 'oh well.

Bulletbait, no, I wish I could draw that well. It is a character design by Range Murata, as Wikipedia states well enough: "Renji "Range" Murata is a Japanese artist and designer, known for his unique style combining Art Deco and Japanese anime elements."

Also, the character the design is for doesn't survive a single episode. I find that fitting, for some reason.

7/10 I like the Christmas candy.

You bastards,
Nah, it was me. 8)

I'm going to give you an 7+1.
The +1 is for making it xmassey, but still keeping in line with the style of the avatar.
