Nice. :) Do you consider changing the deathscreams too? I can help you with this (Audio is my stronger side, not 3d stuff :P )
 
Something about the Kryten getting up/falling down combat animation seems weird. Maybe the colors are slightly different or something? And is the outline around him intentional?

EDIT: BTW, I'm really looking forward to this! Let me know if there's any way I can help-- I would love to help write dialog or something like that. Should be awesome, looks great so far.

Yeah, animation are a bit rough, but this is as good as I can do :D I will see if I can play with frame rate a little.. The colors also isn't perfect, I was playing with lighting a lot, but again, I couldn't do any better (my art sense is really missing :D ). But as for the animation I posted, I think it's just corrupted .gif
His shape is really on purpose, I wanted to highlight Kryten's boxy appearance :)

Although it's tempting to accept help with dialogues or scripting, but I'm making this mod mainly because I want to learn something new, but I will be glad if you'd help me to start or if you'd answer my annoying questions, when I'll be stuck about it :)

Anyway, Kryten is half-done ;)
 
Kryten is almost done!! :drunk:
Just upgraded walking animation and added walking with knife and pistol (Kryten won't be able to use more types of weapons, like Myron - I'm using his animations and will probably use his type of behavior). It was really tricky took me almost whole day, cause I had to adjust offset at every frame (72 frames), but it's done! :)

In game it's faster and it works almost perfect! :)

EDIT:
Two new idle animations created (well.. basicly it's one, but never mind :D ). Hope you like it ;) (quotation because of the background)
(for those who didn't notice, one is cleaning pistol and one is cleaning knife :)

Congratulations HudaJan...but it's difficult to see that knife in Kryten's hands, it might need to be resized...who comes next. :)
 
I was trying to make knife of exact size as critters in Fallout do and this is what I came up with :)
Yes I'm starting to work on Rimmer, on Czech worum we've already chose his two uniforms

So the common one (i like it a lot) and his characteristic green one with his comic hat (I'm planning him to change appearance in about half of the game)
I'm working on improved model and skeleton (since Kryten was more like test model) so his animations should look really realistic, I think (hope) you can look forward to this one ;)
 
Yeah, I like the visual look of Rimmer, and his haircut and build should be pretty standard to model. Lister though is somewhat stranger with his sort of squat physique and unusual haircut.

Make sure to include his swimming certificate. :wink:
 
So I made first animation of remmer. Know it's only animation, I haven't established the cameras yet and I'll see if I can do something with lighting (but Rimmer won't have a shadow since he's a hologram)
I'll see about green uniform yet ;)

Hehe, awesome. How is the rest of the mod coming along (do you have any idea how the story is going to go etc)?
 
It looks a little bit as if the perspective is wrong on this one.
 
Concerninig the Kryten model... if you recoloured it green you could very quickly make Abel, "his brother" and have the makings of a quest for the mod.
