I am tired of religious debates, as most of the forum is I belive. I don't have the energy of trying to convert anybody to the faith, and am tired of it.

Should last for a few months. I hope. Sorry if I have been acting particularly stupid.

Yeah, those were a bit too heavy and annoying, and got a bit over the top when welsh wasn't around to flood the debates with Economist articles :P

About time

Spend those month trying to gain understanding in the fields of "religious debates don't necessarily mean trying to convert someone" and "religious debates don't have to be insulting"

Seriously good advice.

Also; not everything is good and evil and black and white. Just because something may be true in certain cases does not make it so for others or even the majority.

But its good to hear. And if you come back to religion debates any sooner than "months", we have every right to flame you for it. :twisted:
 
Yea, Apparently many.many people don't like religion to be brought into things. It ve a very touchy subject. Vert touchy. Best be leaving it alone. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
 
Yeah, I saw it too. I replied to it with quotes, but I wasn't being argumentative (I think). I only posted clarifications pertaining to what I believe, so I'll leave it. Unless someone thinks I should delete it.

And I'm very tired of the way these threads have become, I think there is a way to debate religion without getting nasty. I hope somehow we can do that.
 
Ok, this seems like a good time to declare MY break in political discussions.. The final trigger was the conversation about oil supplies with Sander, where I lost my point and got a little pwned :(.

It's not my fault really. I usually pwn in the beginning, but due to my chaotic nature, I often lose it completely and go either anarchist or imperialist.

I'll stick to gaming and post-apoc from now on. I've had my 15 posts.
