Fallout 1 mod Restored good endings addon

I wouldn't mind being able to to give the NPC armor. You can always not giving them the armor, while still having the choice ;)

Hey first off thanks Sduibek for doing this. I'm a fan of Team X's mods for Fallout and with no restoration in sight its nice to at least have access to the cut endings. I have a bug though. I just finished the game and met all the requirements according to the readme and got the good boneyard ending but not the good hub ending. I started a new game after installing this mod in the same order suggested with the other Team X mods. I'm playing the GoG version. I don't know what GVARs are used now for the Hub ending (I'd like to know this so I can at least see the ending with my current install), I know it used to be 606 "Be kind to harold". Mine is set at 2. Tried changing it to one, no dice. Do you need any more info? Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same problem except I'm using the Steam version. I speed-ran through the game twice following the instructions to get the good ending for the Hub but did not get the good ending either time. Instead I got no ending for the Hub at all.

EDIT: I read on the Fallout Wikia that you also have to report Bob to the Hub police for using human flesh in his food. You need Fallout Fixt to do this because the quest was removed in the final version. I will try this when I get the chance.

EDIT 2: I speed-ran through the game again with Fallout Fixt. You do indeed need Fallout Fixt to get the good ending for the Hub and that you need to report Iguana Bob to the Hub police. I hope Sduibek updates the standalone version of the mod to include the quest.

Is this compatible with Restoration Mod v1.0b1?

The one from Wasteland Ghost that restored 27 NPCs or whatever? Probably not. You can try it though, and let me know..
How I can make it compatible with this setup?

  • TeamX Patch 1.2
  • TeamX Patch 1.2.1
  • TeamX Patch 1.3.5
  • NPC Mod 3.5
  • NPC Mod Fix
  • Restoration Mod 1.0b1
  • Nimrod Dialog Fixes
  • Lenore Script Fix
  • Lou Animations Offset Fix
  • Original Childkiller reputation art

Not yet, been busy since I moved to L.A. first finding a job and now keeping the job.

During the next few weeks I need to also finish my final class for school. After that I can work on Fixt.

OK, good luck. I'll wait for the fixed version, I want to merge it in my mod setup.

Not sure. I'm not sure if I intended to ever make this small addon compatible with all the other patches and mods, because at that point I figure the person might as well just play Fixt since it includes all those anyway, plus addition fixes (~150+ and counting)

Anyway as far as included in Fixt: the only one in that list I haven't included yet is Restoration Mod 1.0b1 not because I don't want to, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Fixt does include restored invasions, restored endings, but not the 27 restored NPCs and not some of the restored quests.

All the others are included in Fixt.

The addon is supposedly compatible with 1.3.5 and NPC mod, right? Then, there is only 2 scripts from Restoration Mod that need to be modified for this addon: FOLLMAP.INT and HAROLD.INT

I've tried to make this compatible with Restoration Mod 1.0b1, just replace HAROLD and FOLLMAP. I'm no scripter, so if someone can test this, it would be appreciated.

Anybody tested my compatibility patch with Restoration Mod 1.0b1?

Question: Will this patch restore the invasion endings? The readme.txt file indicates that the times of invasion for the Hub and the Followers can be altered. So does it restore the invasion endings for at least these two locations?

@Kyojinmaru
The goal of this small add-on is just to make the good endings for Hub and Followers possible. That's it :)

If you want invasions enabled you can use the Restoration Mod, or my mod Fallout Fixt which includes the Restoration Mod.
