Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots?

Anybody playing this right now? I just got a copy and will be playing it sometime this weekend.

Comments, and criticisms welcome. I want to know if it's worth my time.

I only played 4 or 5 missions of the original Rise Of Nations before I got tired of the poor framerate which comes with my machine. Awesome game, though, great graphics.
I'm playing Pharaoh/Cleopatra - Queen Of The Nile myself. Low system requirements, if you know what I'm saying...

I loved it, but I'm playing alot more Empires:Birth of the Modern World. An odd game, but it has amazing graphics, and I love the WW1 age.

Dove could you tell me what the maximum population limit is for Rise and nations? 200 seems a little pathetic, considering the scale of the game.

200 for any nation but bantu that can have 300.

*still haven't played it* I'm going to start it this weekend I think, I've been caught up in the Fallout world lately.

hrm I have the original RoN and it reminds me too much of Age of Empires. That game and Empire Earth I had such high hopes for but have been let down. I plan on getting the expansion some time though, it looks to expand on the goods of RoN.
