Yep. Hairstyle is included there. I'm not sure how it differs from 2.1.2b in 2.2, but in the previous version there were separate machines, and the machine that governed "style" changes it would tell you there was a chance for success (which was almost guaranteed) to contrast with the 50-50 rates of the "other" machine. Whether they've been changed at all I can't yet say. But they were there, and they allowed for you to change your avatar as much as character creation would allow, in the middle of the game.
Very nifty.[spoiler:6cd5f9b93a]Especially if you wanted to get "the best of both worlds" and benefit from being a woman in certain situations (like boning T-Ray until he explodes so you can get your car back "for free", or sleeping with Metzger to half the price for Vic's freedom, etc) yet benefit from being a male in others (no hassle from the Mordinos if you attempted to join them, etc).
