RP 2.2 Long Hair Dude

Kaiketsu

First time out of the vault
I kinda forgot to set my appearance to long haired dude, and astonishingly I noticed that when I was already in Klamath lol.

Can I somehow change it right now? Maybe with F2se? Or some hex editing? Help!

[spoiler:6f24d539a4]From what I understand there is an option to change your appearance in the EPA. Not sure if includes hairstyle, but look for it there.[/spoiler:6f24d539a4]

Yep. Hairstyle is included there. I'm not sure how it differs from 2.1.2b in 2.2, but in the previous version there were separate machines, and the machine that governed "style" changes it would tell you there was a chance for success (which was almost guaranteed) to contrast with the 50-50 rates of the "other" machine. Whether they've been changed at all I can't yet say. But they were there, and they allowed for you to change your avatar as much as character creation would allow, in the middle of the game.

Very nifty.[spoiler:6cd5f9b93a]Especially if you wanted to get "the best of both worlds" and benefit from being a woman in certain situations (like boning T-Ray until he explodes so you can get your car back "for free", or sleeping with Metzger to half the price for Vic's freedom, etc) yet benefit from being a male in others (no hassle from the Mordinos if you attempted to join them, etc). That's on top of their purely cosmetic benefits, of course.[/spoiler:6cd5f9b93a]

The machines where the same. Different procedure are more or less dangerous, that is all.
