Anyone knows here some RPGs which are currently in development ?

Would be nice to eventually know on what to keep an eye on. Particularly when thinking about some european games which often enough dont get the same kind of hype or if you want marketing like expensive titles.

So if you know some game you think is interesting show it here !

*Would be nice with a link to the page of the developer if possible.

Well, more like a "good old" release, the Circle of Eight is scheduled to release its first non-beta modpack for TOEE by the end of the year. For info, visit the forum at http://co8.org/

Otherwise, I haven't seen anything interesting in the upcoming days, sadly. The one thing that caught my attention, though, was Magicka, a kind of arcade/aRPG hybrid that looks like lots and lots of fun. http://www.magicka.se/

But, frankly, with most everything I've been waiting for already released (FONV, Divinity 2 expansion etc), I'm mostly looking at older games. So here's an obscure oldie suggestion for you: play Space Rangers 2 if you haven't yet.

Diablo 3

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
Sequel to one of best roleplaying games on last few years.

Dead State
Indie zombie RPG from ex-Troika and Obsidian designers.

Grim Dawn
Action RPG from ex Iron Lore staff (where they worked on Titan Quest)

Darkspore
Hack and Slash from Maxix (makers of Sim City, Sims and of course Spore)

Starport Gemini
Space based indie RPG.

Avadon: The Black Fortress
New RPG from makers of Geneforge and Avernum series. This time Spiderweb finally has completely redesigned their graphics system.

Torchlight II
Sequel to a hack and slash RPG that scored 8.6 at IGN.

Drakensang Online
Cooperative online RPG.

Neverwinter
Online cooperative RPG with powerful adventure building tools, from Cryptic (makers of City of Heroes and Champions)

Star Wars: The Old Republic
Star Wars MMORPG from Bioware.

Guild Wars 2
Original Guild Wars scored 9.0 at IGN

Tera
Beautiful MMORPG with action-game like combat, by ex-Lineage devs.

Stellar Dawn
Sci-Fi MMO from makers of Runescape

Rift: Planes of Telara

Untitled Carbine Studios MMORPG
Carbine is a team composed of RPG veterans(including Blizzard ones) like Tim Cain
(one of creators of Fallout and Arcanum) and Jeremy Gaffney (founder of Turbine)

Heh ... Drakensang Online ...

Its not really much worth from the short video I have seen. Streamlined for action. Without dark eye ruleset. Thats like Fallout made as first person shooter ... hey wait a min!

Zombi RPG sounds interesting. I will keep an eye on that!

Age of Decadence. I am sure it will rock. When it will be released :P

I am also looking forward to dungeon siege 3 as its developed by obsidian. Just the bugs ... as usual worry me : /

Guild Wars 2 is the only online RPG i find interesting as it seems you will not have to pay monthly.

What?! This aint true is it?

Will this never end? Everytime i browse these forum there is something new to depress me. I should stop it. Ignorance is bliss they say

Wasteland 2, allegedly.

I am looking forward to this the most. I have a feeling that we won't be seeing it anytime soon, though. Or, dare I say, ever.

I have a similar feeling.

I hate to say it but I feel that Brian Fargo has been talking out of his ass.
He bough the rights, seemed to hint at a Wasteland project with some material on the Inxile website and suddenly we hear nothing anymore.

If he doesn't want to make such a game anymore, let him sell the rights to another studio/developer.

I am going to be quite difficult to be around if it turns out he obtained the rights only to produce an iPhone game. Quite difficult indeed.

Serious question, would you rather a big-money Bethesda-esque rape Wasteland 2 made by a different studio or would you rather Brian Fargo just keeps Wasteland to himself and does nothing with it?

The Dutch Ghost should have said "sell the rights to a competent, worthy studio/developer.

That's a hard one.
Well I would like there to be a third option.

If Fargo is not going to do anything with it, let him make it open source or public, or whatever you call it.
I am sure there are fans who love the setting to tell new stories in it.

Perhaps another game's engine can be utilized to make a RPG, a retelling of the original or a complete new story.

I once saw a picture of a deathclaw in metal armor holding miniguns, looked like fallout but it was another game

Anyone knows the name, etc?

Edit: this!

now while browsing (and complaining, yes I love doing that a lot) in the Twoworlds 2 forum someone posted that the lead designer of Oblivion is making some kind of new game. Interesting maybe. If you liked Oblivion

Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning

yaaay for lifting 200lbs hammers like a broomstick ... and for protoss-like-hand-blades ... I guess O.o ?

What is this I don't even. It's like the worst of anime cliches mixed in with the worst of WRPG staples plus awkward unnatural graphic presentation.
