Pillars of Eternity 2: $9.99 Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition: $8.99 Pathfinder: Kingmaker: $8.99 When RPG's are cheap I will post them here. June 20th, 2022
I think the only new Sci-Fi RPGs in the pipeline are Colony Ship & Subterrain 2 along with Citizen Sleeper which is already available.
When did I buy Pillars 2? I went to buy it because you listed it as on sale but I apparently already bought it? I think I have a problem.....
I stopped playing Pillars 1 after traversing a one-way passage that left my party in a position where they could not win against foes ahead, and could not survive against foes behind—via the alternate path back to the surface. Personally I think the campfire mechanic is utter nonsense, and that would be the first mod I would install to eliminate that absurdity from the gameplay. ____________ I stopped playing Pillars 2 somewhere near the boat. I stopped playing Witcher 2 just after the Kraken fight. I stopped playing Witcher 3 just after 20 minutes or so; same for Cyberpunk 2077.
I did the same in a fit of pique. I could not get through that Kraken fight. When my son called I asked him to do it for me. He did it but I was that annoyed I just binned it.
I passed the fight, but lost interest shortly afterward. It is that the two sequels both abandoned the principle features that I liked about The Witcher, and so story aside, I didn't enjoy the game mechanics; without the mechanics, the story is ancillary fluff.
Both Encased and ATOM RPG was on sale when this was posted. Shame on you @TorontoReign for not posting them.
I expect other people to help out but they are too busy not playing good games. Also I only post really DEEP sales usually so it might not have looked SALE enough or I missed it. Please understand.
Same here. Arx Fatalis is quite improved with the addition of Arx Libertatis. https://arx-libertatis.org/
So... it's a Syndicate clone using a retro setting? IE. Johnny Dangerously instead of Johnny Mnemonic. *Although in this case, 'retro' could mean 90's & 00's. ____________ Timeslip Softworks... Is that any relation to Timeslip the dll maven?
