What kind of hardware was it taken under?

did anyone recognise the model of the gauss gun? it is quite the same like in fallout.

even the image of the ammo is copied from fallout. ill try to up a screen as soon as i can.
or maybe its some kind of open source model?

the gaussrifle looks like a Colt AR meets the FO Gauss gun, yes.

never used it though. i couldn't kill anyone with it. the F2000 is far superior once you get that far into the game.

Apparently, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. looks great if you have a system hearty enough to support it (made worse because I don't believe the game has been optimized all that well). Problem being that many people are unable to support the DirectX 9 shaders, or have to sacrifice other graphical settings for them. I believe it is only a tiny minority who can play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. with full settings.

Now that's a minority I am glad to be part of. (-;
