More or less ;)

What can I see there? A mountain?

Not the right guy for an ingame graphics, right? We need him motivated at work he loves to do, right? And it's definitely not thinking about stupid fucking retarded FO's engine, right? :o :o
And who would be insane enough to design and create 3d scene for past-gen engine only (and later waste a time for some stupid cutting/adjusting)? Shinny 3d still is looking much better in gallery than some screenshot taken from more than 10 years old game

Anyway, I somehow feel we'll be talking over this rocky thing so, sooo soon.
Sure, we can always talk, talking costs nothing ;) Just like spamming this thread :ugly:

Why is it so big? Those lanes are double wide each. Don't get me wrong I'm not bashing, its good... but its very unrealisticly large.

Eh... I never felt like that about fallout. Everything always seems to be proportioned right. Streets are the right size, entrance ways and hallways are all the right size, etc. Its good, really it is... but jeeze those vehicle and character models look like ants on that huge asphalt field.

What about changing it to 4 lanes (2x2)?

If it were me, I'd litter it with ruined cars with skeletons hanging out of them and hide goodies in the bones and cars once in a while. :D I love post apocolptic scenes where everything is stuck in time the way it was when the catastrophic event happened. You know like highways full of burned out cars inhabited by skeletons, frozen in time.... good stuff.

First time I see someone complains about something is too large thing :o

More seriously, I can't see anything wrong with the size of the highway... highway, not some small road ;)

I made something similar for MR, but car is buried in the sand and skeleton is lying right to opened doors. AFAIR screenie can be found in news section of NMA...

MR? NMA?

Anyway, I like you're work... but as I said, I think its too big. I'll wait to see what others have to say though.

hey M.Continuum, since you seem in the mood for large and suspended highways, what about a destroyed Golden Gate Bridge?
I don't have any clue about any sidestory yet, but I always felt that something was missing everytime i visited SF
You know, something that really tells me I "really" am in San Francisco, not in little Chinatown...

I guess Contie has already learned not to react on every silly idea posted here at NMA forums. :lalala:

Idea of destroyed GGB ;) isn't bad... but location itself is. I hate everything which SF is presenting. Maybe I should run my own mod... Fallout 2: Return to Roots... Not much from original content would left :D

Anyway, Golden Gate Bridge thing isn't something that I want to do, sorry... so, maybe someone else will pick up this (probably whole map should be custom art only based to achieve cool results)...

As for the subbie thing: you must wait some more time for rest of the art...

Very BGE friendly update, Contie. :lalala:

Since I have Fallout/Mapper installed... I can do something really quick here and there ;) But according to number of d/l tiles aren't very popular... Why? Tiles are very engine friendly... but are they user friendly? :ugly:

It's much better than posterizations! And doesn't require any rendering. Not to mention about results/amount of work factor.

I like the blue and brownish one, am gonna use it.

Btw, ever thought of modifing the desert version?
I gave it a try, but I could just come up with this

Well, not the best, maybe I will use it for a really desertic area,
Aint there a white desert in the area of california? Or is it around Salt lake city...

Concerning the limitation on the tiles, i have never really understand it, since you just have to use the same emplacement on the mapper for different art. But i am far from the limit myself, so I don't bother myself with that (yet).

So keep the tiles coming!

Check out this post.

I don't know who made this, I don't know what's this, or is this somewhere available or not, but desert is looking really cool there.
