Scenery stuff and such...

Its true I forgot about that anyway I corrected it and upped it to the wiki repo alongside with the numberless vault entrance door.

Yay! Everyone should be like you Jotisz :postviper: (but not in a creepy way :look:)

I'm trying to render some new scenery but I'm struggling with the correct perspective. How should I setup the camera for Fallout scenery in a 3D renderer? What XYZ values should I set and the what is the viewer's perspective?

Also there are some blender scene setups from here and an update one
http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38779&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=
Also at the new animation thread Alvarez has posted an updated version with additional cameras
http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=50693&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=1120
Maybe it would be useful to copy these files to some stickied forum or show them at the wiki or even post the scene setup
Camera
location x=-4.850 y=-21.000 z=10.000
rotation x=63.545 y=-0.650 z=-30.150
scale is 1 everywhere
Camere lens is orthographic with 13.0 scaling

Thank you!

Can someone please explain to me how can I load another *.blend file into Alvarez's scene without messing it up? I would like to add objects to his scene and then just render them for the game but I'm having trouble with this.

@Fallout1FTW
Blender can import stuffs from other blend files with the "append or link" it in the file menu or press shift+f1 locate your blend open the objects and chose the object(s) you want to place in your scene.

Thanks for help Jostiz. I noticed the "append" option earlier but didn't fiddle with it.

Another question, how do you create an item/scenery with cycling colors animation? I did some tests with FO's color palette but no results so far.

Hi guys, Lich is one great dude, able to make new graphical stuff with original fallout artwork.

Last day, while working on my map, I've made this:
bigguardhouse-26466b3.png

So yeah, it's only a pixel-art work, I have replaced the bad things, such as roof, or walls, because this bigger shack is made from 2 guard shacks.

Feel free to use it. :D

Yeah Lich is the master of collage...nice toilet block BTW.

With a little bit of messing around you could make this into a fully functioning building.

Yes, good thing with that guard shack, possibilities are endless.

I am working on a usable door that you will paste on that sack, to enter inside (It will transport you into anorther map).

Nicely done Conti, but my only suggestion is to increase the contrast somewhat...the Fallout shadows are almost black.

Can we make requests here too? :P (or maybe someone wants to share it). I'd need a small boat/vessel soooo bad. Anyone kind of enough to share it with us?

Yes, exactly what I want! It's a bit too bright and needs adjusting here and there, but it's really good. Thanks! I believe I once saw this one on FMF screenshots, right?

Yep - I found that in the corpse of FMF. :D

I'm a bit bored at work so I made this guardhouse edit using crappy MS Paint. Might edit it later in Photoshop once I get home (if more work needs to be done)
