I'm 100% confident that if both of those had sold uber fucking amounts that old Herve would have focused his production teams on FO3, instead of trying to pump out sequels. :roll:
 
IIRC the pic of that multiplayer interface was the only one using FOT stuff and it was not a screenshot but a photoshopped design sketch. With that kind of pics it's not important how they look but what design elements are on them. The final version probably would have looked "kind of like that", not exactly the same way.

Remember, they were lacking artists. Letting someone make a pretty version of the sketch if it's not 100% sure it's final is something you can't waste resources at in that kind of situation.
