T2 was a demonstration of the CGI more so than an actual sequel in my book

batman returns wasnt a sequel, it was a prequel. so is dark knight. everything from original batman to the one before returns is in order i believe, and then returns and knight are prequels from when he was starting out.

You guys keep mixing up Returns and Begins. Stop it, it's confusing.

Batman 3 and 4 (Forever and & Robin) are shite, but Returns is a good sequel. In cinematography and acting I'd call it better than the original, Christopher Walken in particular is marvellous.

Batman Begins and the Dark Knight should really be seen as a new series. And the Dark Knight is definitely better than that overhyped piece of tripe Begins (not that the Dark Knight isn't overhyped, but at least it kinda lives up to the hype).

Did you know Batman grossed more than Batman Begins WW, while the Dark Knight is the highest-grossing of the series (4th-highest grossing film of all time)? The whole series grossed 2.6 billion. Now that's bank.

I liked Heath Ledgers performance. He creeped my wife out and that was good enough to get her interested in the character. I liked the pencil disappearing trick and his overall psycho demeanor.

One of the most memorable superhero movies I have seen and I don't even like DC.

I'm glad they rebooted the franchise. Batman and Robin gave me a fucking seizure it was so bad.

That aside I agree, Christopher Walken was awesome as Max Shreck.

2. Begins and Dark Knight are not prequels, they restarted the series.

Maybe so. But his performance was indeed outstanding.

Mad Max 2 was many times better than 1.

Godfather Part 2 was excellent, but aside from the flashback scenes, it was simply a rehash of part 1's plot; very very formulaic. Part 1 is far superior. Both are masterpieces of cinema.

Batman Returns IMO wasn't as good as Batman.

Dark Knight was better than Batman Begins.

Terminator 2 was much much better than Terminator 1.

Aliens was different form Alien. Both were great but I couldn't honestly rank one above the other.
