First time out of the vault
So I know that there have been quite a few threads about favorite music and such.
However, I would like to ask now what bands do you listen to, that you would normaly not admit to listening, or CD's you own that you never mention, or songs you like that when all of your friends say how much they hate it you stay quiet and enjoy. Do you like Hanson? Britteney Spears? Back Street Boys?.... these people sell millions of records, SOMEBODY has to own them!

I will start off by saying that I own both albums from Crazy Town.

I also own a CD by Tracy Lords..... :freak: ..... I bought it after hearing the song that was from it on the first Mortal Combat soundtack. I thought that it would be techno like the song on the soundtrack but unfortunately she actually sang and it ruined for me even the song she had on the soundtrack. :puke:

Oh, and Dave Mathews.... among my friends I could be linched for that.

HMM... nothing else I can think of off hand.... but I may add in the future..... as long as I am not the only one to go out on this limb here..... :wiggle:
 
Crazy Town is/was fucking horrible. I feel sorry for your ears.

Also, I don't listen to bad music, so I'll just get out of this thread while I can.

Well, sometimes anyway.


Uhm... I got most CDs of Oomph! and I kinda like some tracks of Marilyn Manson.

I also like Trance/Techno and some of the German '80s music (NDW, only if I'm in the mood tho).
Sometimes I even listen to Electric Six and Right Said Fred.

There's also a couple of tracks of Lords of Acid on my PC.

Lastly there's also a track of Mousse T on it.

And I used to like Guano Apes.

I'm not going to mention anything I liked before I reached the age of 16 tho, that's just too embarassing.
 
I have one crappy cd: "Stripped" by Christina Aguilera.
I only bought it so I could jerk off over the photos in the booklet.
The booklet is kinda sorta glued together by now.

On topic: 80% of my songs are commercial techno. Does that count as "crappy"?

I have some Spears pics, but they are rathe mediocre and not nearly as provocative as Aguilera's. I recommend Christina over Britney wholeheartedly.

It depends what "crappy music" is for you...
If crappy music means fucking teenie pop: yeah, I'm in it... or at least I was, but I still think Christina A. isn't so bad at all...

I own a copy of a Luca Turilli cd, Ancient Forest of Elves. I try to hijack the stereo and put it on at parties for a laugh. I also have mp3s of some awful songs like "Cold as Ice" by Foreigner.
 
While I don't think Skinny Puppy is bad music, I've heard others say that their music isn't even "music" at all.

I have every one of their cds.. hmm

And Nine Inch Nails.. some people hate them/him(trent reznor) for changing industrial music. Or at least that's what i understand.. I have their 3 major albums.

I like her but can't stand her music.

Anyway. I don't have a problem with what I listen to. I'm not ashamed of anything, although I refrain from telling people I like Prince. People just go all billy on me when I tell'em that. Strangely I don't have as much of a problem saying I like Marylin Manson.
