@Ugly Kid : Now that I think about it, they could’ve had Dogmeat in Fallout 2, but just remove the 4th wall thing and make it a normal dog with a similar name.

I think that would make me dislike Dogmeat being the game way less, but I don't think we need more than one cyberdog and one normal dog. Dogmeat just isn't necessary, much like Miria and Davin.

I also just thought of something, surely after hearing the self destruct warning and countdown, people in Mariposa and the Cathedral would attempt to escape. I always choose the peaceful option, so I would have let the Lieutenant, Viscous, and Morpheus survive. And considering all of them are closer to the exit than you are when the self destruct timers go off, surely they'd leave first.

I'd really like for the Lieutenant to survive above all other Unity members. If he did escape I feel like he would try to revive the Unity, and he would be the leader of the Unity remnants from Fallout 2. This would give those guys a reason to exist, because right now they're just kind of there. He would be south of Fallout 2's playable map, probably, and doing stuff off-screen. I think he'd eventually give up, because it's been around 100 years and he's accomplished almost nothing, and then one day he'd hear of Jacobstown and go there.

And that makes me wonder if the Lieutenant has met Marcus before, if he has then I don't think he'd recognize Marcus. Although I'm certain the Lieutenant would be considered a celebrity among the first gen super mutants.

Viscous would probably try to run to Mariposa and warn those guys, but then he'd meet the Lieutenant half way and join the new Unity.

I don't really care that much about Morpheus, he could just be executed for association or something.

All this talk of Raul has reminded me of something he said that always confused me. In his backstory, when’s he’s hunting down the guys that raped and killed his surrogate little sister he says that he was able to catch up with them because “they needed sleep. I didn’t.” Implying that ghouls don’t need to sleep, which doesn’t make much sense to me other than from the whole “they’re radiation zombies lol” angle.

So in my head canon what he meant by that was he was so consumed with rage and desire for vengeance that he literally didn’t sleep until they were dead. If this were the case, it probably didn’t take him more than two days to track them down, otherwise he would’ve died from sleep deprivation. But I seem to remember him saying it took a week to find them, so I guess I’ll just retcon that in my head canon.
Maybe ghouls have less physical needs like food and sleep. So Raul can go a while without it
