So there's this Soviet guy who saved Earth...

Frissy, don't be an idiot. There's enough of those around.

Hey Frissy you are aware that many of humanity's first STD's came from sheep? Sheep herding involves being far from anyone for long periods of time and the reproductive systems of female sheep are very alike to a human's...

...so watch your ass...

:D ,
The Vault Dweller

From the narrow avoidance of MAD to the transmission of sheep STDs; it is perpetually facinating to observe the evolution of a topic.

It'd be a lot easier if you just sat back and let us do our own dirty work. Plus, you sheep are lower in the food chain. So be quiet before I order you slaughtered!

Back on topic now... yay for this Soviet dude, I'll probably never remember him again, sadly. Plus, if you really deeply think about it, everyone saved the world. Because if one tiny, little detail was somehow diverted, who knows the havoc/paradise we'd be in right now? Hell...I'm saving/destroying the world just by eating some tasty cereal. Who knows the chain of events that might eventually follow?

Well basically everyone NOT pushing the button is a hero. Bush didn't push the button...HERO!

As for everyone being in the same soup and a possible hero due to not eating too much cerials in the morning. Well it does have a point, as does the same thinking when someone does push the button: "Oh shit, nukes! MOMMYY I WON'T EAT CERIALS ANYMORE! I PROMISE! "

A bit far fetched in my mind, but still appliable. Hmm..I wonder how many people really do have a button. I mean one without the need to two persons to agree etc. Just a button, and if you press it. Boom.

Yes, that's called the butterfly effect. There have been so many movies and tv episodes about that, that no one can remember them all,
I just remember:
The Butterfly Effect,
Time Machine,
The Hunt for Red October,

Episodes in the Charmed.
The list goes on and on.

Are you sure about that, or is it just that you have been taught to think like that.

Food chain is an illusion. It doesn't have up or down. It's a cycle.

You eat a sheep. You die due to moral issues. You become dirt. Dirt becomes grass. Grass get's eaten by sheep.

The fact remains that I'll feast on your flesh while all you can do is eat grass wich is far from eating me, the worms got there way before you... Plus you have to face it: you're nothing more than an overgrown lamb who is being led to the slaughter :P
Back to the russian guy: that was pretty brave of him, just think that the bunker he was in would have been on the list of targets, being a strategic military objective and all, not to mention that a real nuclear attack would have whipped out all his family and friends... bravo to him

Don't forget that you can't shag without protection anymore...muahahah ! Now you have to trust your bitch (be it male or female) not to cheat on you. Ahh.. the trust is being nagged away from humans...

Russian guy: Well one has to remember one thing. Even if he had pushed the button Russia would still have been blown to bits if the attack had been real. Push the button and die, or die and not push the button and save innocents.

He saved innocents. Hell if he NEVER pushes the button he will save even more.
