OOC: Awesome post! I like it. Now I finally knows how Valerie looks like......Riona of FF8. Not too possibile in real life though.....as "Squall" is just "missing" for about a day or two....unless he's treating her damn bad. BTW, I'm also 14 and have the same condition as you....:(
P.S. How can that MP7 player only goes for 2 hrs!? Even my 3 yrs old MD can stand for 6 hrs.....(9 hrs when new)

OOC: Insane, I had only played the FF8 demo. I have no idea what happned after the dance. Please don't tell me any more about the story!(I thought that the game was kinda boring but that dance scence was awesome. To me the animation seemed even more realistic than Toy story.)Do you the game is good? I have only played an hour of the demo and was the first time to play a final fantasy game.

Also I meant that Neo had been useing the MP7 player for a long time. Their last resupply had been in Mexiacalla, and if you rememeber, he had been listening to it the whole 3-day ride to Santa Rosilita. I'm sorry for the confusion. :-)

You guys to have semmed to have liked the story. Neo was orignally gonna leave the next day, but he'll stay longer. :-)

ooc-Hey, is Neo going to show up for the gun battle at the Alamo?

ic-Will quietly ate his rations while he studied his map. They were still on the roof of the mansion. It was about noon, so they only had 5 hours until Santa Anna was going to give his big speech. He still had no plan. He had to think of one, but just couldn't come up with anything that satisfied him. He finished off his rations and got up. He walked by Fang and Greven, who were watching out for sentries, and got his rifle. He walked over and sat by Reptile, who was polishing his gun. Will said nothing, but began to adjust the sight on his rifle. This shot had to be perfect. Reptile looked at him.

"Want this bipod I found?"

Will stopped sighting the gun and looked up.

"Sure, but where did you find a bipod?"

"Took it off a dead CND trooper back in the Texas war. I Figure it can help you now."

Will grinned faintly. "Thanks."

Reptile took a 2 foot bipod out of his backpack. Will grabbed it and attached it to his rifle. He walked over to the edge of the roof and set up his gun. He peered down the scope. He had a perfect shot at the podium where Santa Anna would give his speech. Will got up, leaving the gun there. Time to get back to planning, and hopefully come up with something.

OOC: I see....the MP7 is being used already for 3 days...I didn't play FF after FF7....It's gives less fun compared to the previous FF~~~~I like FF5 best~~~The "Job system" is damn cool! The CGs are nice but Square actually put more effort into 'em rather then the game.....shit:(

Insane-"Yeah, they could."

Will rubbed his chin. The beginning of a plan was forming in his head."

Greven-"I know that look. You got a plan, don't you Will."

Will shakes his head. "Well, It's starting to take form, I guess. Insane, can you operate a 75mm recoiless rifle?"

Insane nods. "You mean that big gun on the APC? Yeah, I can use it."

Will-"O.K. I want you to go back to the APC. While you're on the way, tell Aleho, wherever he is, to come here and help me, Fang, and Reptile. You take your rebels, and after I take the shot, I want you all to bust through that fence using an HE round, and come back us up. Greven, you're the best driver we have, so you'd better go with him."

Greven brought his hand up in a mock salute-"Yes sir!"

Insane-"Anything else I should know?"

Will-" Remember to let your buddies out when you get to the courtyard. And tell the rest of my men to sneak in and take up positions around the courtyard."

Greven-"And Insane, if I see someone pointing a LAW at us, warn us, because it's gonna be messy if that APC takes a rocket hit."

Insane sighed. "Man, you guys sure are counting on me alot."

Reptile smiled, and patted him on the back. " It'll work out. Don't worry."

Will stood up, shaking his head and chuckling.

"Yeah, it will work out. It always does for us."

Reptile chimed in "Because we're lucky sons-of-bitches!"

Greven-"Amen to that!"
 
Here I come.

The night haze dawned insomnia on the lonesome traveller, he had been cooped in the mansion for days and only now had he been able to escape.
*Damn, ground level's heavily fortified. Better try the roof!* he thought to himself.
His long black hair was tied sheepishly at the back and his moth-eaten overcoat had seen better days, his name was Karl Brigand. With .223 Pistol in hand he ran down the wrinding hallway and to an open sky light, a way to the roof.
He shuffled through the sky light but noticed a small handful of people congrigating on the roof.

OOC: Ok i'm back but can everyone post there confirmation they're ready for the big battle. It has to be big and exciting and we do want anyone missing it. How about we start a new post for the battle. Just call it "The Battle" This post is getting hard to navigate through now and when that's hapened before people miss posts and then the story is mucked up. Anyway on with the IC

IC: Fang was sitting on a corner of the roof looking back towards the farm that could just about be seen in the distance on it's high hill however far it was away. Fang got up and walked over to Will. He had been close enough to hear most of what had been said.
"Ok so i'm staying here with you right, I hope you don't expect me to snipe because that really isn't my specail point. Mind you i used to be a sniper in the old days but now a prefer to charge with all the equiptment i have." Fang continued talking in a low almost whistling voice diffrent to his usual one. "The way i see it i could do one of three things, i could cover the APC from that building," Fang points over to a building about 500 meters away. It looks like it has a perfecty balcanoy for someone to hide on on the top floor. "Or i could cover you from that window," Fang points to a window in the same building on the second highest floor pointing towards the building they were currently on "Or I could try to elimnate that will no doubt be stationed here. There are bound to be loads out by the podium and Santa Anna will almost definatly set up a temporary barracks."

Fang paused for a moment and looked up, there was no smile or pleasure visible in his helemtless face. He held his helmet under one arm and then turned his gaze back to will

"Im sorry if i seem a little strange about this battle but this is going to be a war and it's not the sort of thing i have experiance at. I was trained as a ninja style secret agent and a fighter. A fighter who fights in small squads against small enemies. You do knoiw that a lot of the enemies will have power armour," He said suddenly reminding the group of when they encountered the squad of Santa Anna's troops what seemed like ages ago.

Fang walked off and began to inspect his armour making sure that everything wa sperfect in wait of the descision of Will. He and Insane would play the main part of the battle and the elimnation of Santa Anna but if they wanted to survive the troops that would bomard them afterwards their fate was in his hands, as long as Will could pull off the whole assasination thing.

This was gonna be a battle to remember, A battl children would talk about in many years time.

Insane hesistated but lowered his weapon anyway, he couldn't but notice the unique weapon in Karl's hand, it looked like yur usual .223 but the handle was different he could easily tell even in this light. The handle seemed to be ivory, it looked like a work of shear genius.
Will and Fang seemed obviously preoccupied as they whispered to eachother but they couldn't but help looking over at the commotion.
"Who the hell are you people?" questionned Karl rudely yet startled.
"Shh.. jesus keep it down!" argued Will.
Karl laughed to himself, "You guys are attempting to kill Santa Anna, right?" He asked.

Bad Luck: Thanx Insane for welcoming me.

Fang walked over to Insane, "I'll go at the same time as you," he told him. "Will hasn't given me specific instructions yet but i'll probably have to go somewhere. Anyway who put Will in charge." Fang spun his small solar blaster round in his hand and pulled a giant Mingun cannon form his pack. "I picked this up from the rebel base," He said pointing to a tube coming off of the miningun (Which looked larger than normal) "It's an ammo feeder meaning that you don't have to reload. If i am to snipe i won't need it. But if i take out the temporary barracks i will. The Gun itself is a Brotherhood modification. It has more barrels. If i need to sneak then one of you can have it."

Fang was talking to Insane but Reptile had joined him whilst he was talking. Will was a few meteres in front now explaining the situation to Karl and seeing if he could be trusted.

"And Reptile," Fang said "We've been friends for a while with those adventures you know rescuing Lance from those slavers and that battle with Delmont and the raiders. Welll anyway you know how it's like me to give away weapons. Remember when i supplied the ehole grouip with gear. Well anyway i have some spare weapons you could take and if you really want to win you better take them. Anyway we still have a couple of hours left i've set an auto-dignostic on my armour so i think i'll catch some sleep. He laid down and took out some, Part Gecko, Part Deathclaw, Part something else blanket and laid down and slept.

He was woken about an hour and three quaters later incase he had any emergancy preparation. He also needed those orders from Will who had been pondering over strategy for quite some time. From what Fang had heard from the rest of the group and a few strangers in the wasteland they had won a pretty big battle at Texas under the command of Will so he must be good. Although Fang was also sure that his side had an army back then though.

While fang was sleeping Will was sat with several maps marking on lines and crosses etc. in plan for the battle. The rest of the group where talking and examining their weapons. Insane eventaually got up and walked obver to will to ask what time he had to leave.

OOC: you didn't really have to change the "Invasion of Texas" Background i have only recently started reading it amd i still understood WIll's post. Also please don't edit my description of previous adventures as it is a description as opposed to character talk that doesn't describe it and just talks about it in general.

If you've noticed, my posts haven't been every other post. It's like that for a reason. Things are happening to Neo, but the reader does not know what.

The story is 88 pages now. It's chock full of new stuff. :-)

"Whatever you think would be most effecient," will replied leaving the choice to Fang.
"I'll plant a bomb. If your assasination fails and we're all killed at least wil take Santa Anna with us to hell." With that Fang walked off
"Insane, Time to roll, Get those men into position, Reptile the boss wants you," fang commanded. He was of course reffering to Will when he said "The Boss". Fang climbed down the ladder last after leaving a selection of equiptment for the others to use. He had left his Minigun with one of the men from the resistance. He was to take it just incase. Fang decided that he would prefer trust the Fang and his Turbo plasma rifle.

Fang walked into the area where Santa Anna would make his speech. By that time it was only 10 minutes left. Precise accuracy was needed now.

He walked into an alley way, he found one of Santa Anna's guard squads patrolling the area. He approached behind them and slaughtered. He ripped off all there weapons andd pulled off as much equiptment with out bothhering to concentrate on what he was taking. He collected up there identity cards, passes and dog tags and headed for the podium.

OOC: Let this be the last post in South of the Border. It is getting hard to navigate. Let the next one be called
"The Battle at Santa Rosilita" or Something of the such but display the name here in a post just in case
