(SPOILERS) I Knew Fallout 4 Had Little Replayability, But It's Even Worse Than I Thought

For me it was the opposite, I was working for the institute and decided to see what the railroad was up to. Then when I met up with the inside traitor Liam that was releasing synths, I wondered why I couldn't snitch or blow his head off and fix the escaping synth situation. Why wouldn't I be able to do that? Why would killing the railroad even fix that? THAT was the problem source and Liam never gets dealt with!!!

Could of had a quest where you follow the railroad like normal and set them up when they warp in to expose liam and the "malfunctioning" synths. lock the doors like when we first got there and send some gorrillas in there! doesnt matter then!

The worst things is that the Institute questline is even more unfinished than the Legion questline in FONV.... at least the Legion questline has a climax and ends in a satisfactory manner, with the Institute you have the fight with the BOS then they send you to kill the RailRoad who are all pretty punny NPCs, you go back and the game just farts and "ends" and you are then instructed to do endless "radiant quests" with no visible changes on the world or anything, the mayor of Diamond City still just says "I am busy" when you talk to him, no Synths in Diamond City either, the Institute is apparentlty pathetic enough to have regular problems with low level raiders kidnapping their high tech Synths.... it's shit.

I couldn't find a single one, is that something that happens after an in-game week or something?

I agree. Honestly I feel Fallout 4 might've retained a little dignity if they just went the New Vegas route and gave it a solid ending rather than let us play post-ending. Especially when considering the post-ending game is barely any different from the main one, outside of maybe one or 2 very very minor changes depending on who you sided with.

I beg to differ, I found synths populated all over the map, including DiCit ...

Oh sure, the game ACTS like there's synths everywhere, but even when you kill someone you KNOW is a synth, they don't even have a synth component on them. They could've at least made synth components a very rare loot drop or something just for the slight surprise of "oh wow, the synths are here too!" Idk, just feels lazy in the way it's executed. I wish we could have learned more about Covenant and their rip off of the GOAT test and how it determines who's a synth and who's not. That kinda stuff is interesting. Instead we just got nonsensical kidnappings with no rhyme or reason and people we KNOW are synths don't even have a synth component on them, I guess just to hide the fact they're a synth before you do their quest? But what's the point?

All I ever needed was the ability to kill anyone. When I seen how the story and dialogue was shit, I just wanted to make a new game and have a kill everything run. Not even close to possible with essentials and respawns.
