Thank you

I just noticed the comment about Ultimate Frisbee. Holy crap, how could I have forgotten about that. In my sophmore year of high school, my friends and I decided to organize a Ultimate Frisbee club sport at the school. We had already been playing non-stop for a bunch of years up to this point, but it was at this time that we became hardcore about it. We convinced kids at other high schools to create teams, and soon had a sort of league throughout Connecticut. We ended up winning the "championship" all three years that we had it. I don't know what happened to the program since I graduated, but damn, we were hardcore. We'd be out there playing frisbee in the dead of winter with snow on the ground. At one point, the whole soccer field was covered in a like 4 inch thick sheet of ice. Now that was a damn awesome game. It was like hockey frisbee. Unbelievably fun.

According to http://www.dictionary.com a sport is:

b. A particular form of this activity.
2. An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively.
3. An active pastime; recreation.

Under the definition of Sport, Poker has been proven to be one.

And under this definition, auto racing is one, too.

I'm personally getting into the World Rally Championship stuff. I catch that on Speed Channel every chance I get.
I wasn't interested last year once Mitsubishi decided to take a break, but now that they're back, I'm ready to watch 'em kick some Subaru ass!
