Starting Something (plz post)

IC: "No i've made up my mind i refuse to go to reno. I have to move on, when oyu have the car come by that route and pick me up. And to take car of the problem with Bishop. I'll use the best bit of Brotherhood technology i have." Fang draws a little spider-shaped robot from a secret pocket in his power armour. "You take this he says and passes it to reptile. Look after it. And when you wahnt to talk to me press this button," fang shows the group a small button "Then we can talk, the spiderbot 'll project an image of me that i can control. The spider 'll be me there and i can be me here. It's a great bonus being in the Brotherhood. The spider even has a cloak (Device to make invisible) so i can actualy look like i'm there. That'll scare old Bishop, and don't worry about guards i took hundreds of 'em out. There aren't even that many neutral mecernaries left up there so Bishop 'll never have a good force. i predict that you'll be about a week and a half. i can get about a third of the way in that time. And with the car that'll take me about another week to get there. Two and a half weeks for that distance. Impressive huh"

OOC: This story's stopping slightly on with the action.

After looking over the weapons generously handed too him , he hands the weapons back (can't use smaller weapons worth a damn.) He take out his spear and noticed the others with their OIWC's and tacticle assault rifles and all, and with power armor and the like, where as he being stripped of his items rely's on his spear and leather armor. Hmmm. Checks his pockets finding a bottle of water.

Personally I'd rather have better weapons with me for going to New Reno , I'm not what you'd call welcome there since I hung up my gloves in a high-money prize fight... But the raider base is VERY close , and I'm sure , judging by my company at hand, we could take the raider base, free some slaves , get my equipment plus you guys can have anything that's not mine , and I'm sure my fellow Rangers would pay you gentlemen a nice sum of money, aiding a Ranger, freeing slaves. They'd appreciate it and so would I.

Rad: Hehe. You're a walking armory, Fang. Would've liked to have you physically with us, but if you don't want to... lone wolf huh.

Ok, we're stocked up now, let's go towards the raider base!

Reptile: They are allways handy not as good as a powerfist but.......... bettter then nothing...
The group walks away Fang towards NCR and the rest towards th Raider base.......

*after around an hour of walking it seems like they are getting closer, as they encounter a small group of raiders.*

Rad: *whispers* stop...

Reptile: wtf is it???

Rad: Look ahead. Vermin pack one o' clock.

Dutch: I see them. Six in all, all metal armored, with... shotguns, rifles, pistols and light SMGs.

Reptile: no no no see the gun the leader's got, it's a friggin JACKHAMMER! That's no ordinary shotgun if u know what i mean! And... there are TWO M60's! Light SMGs, my ass!

Rad: Oh shit...

Dutch: Keep down! Don't let'em see us!

*they toss themselves to the ground and wait silently*

*while the group of raiders a light catches Dutch's eye , it's coming from a nearby cliff , someone is up there, he gives slight wave and seems like he was going to take on the raiders*

Sees Aerakade up on a cliff and gives him a nod , seeing his nice little gimmick for flashing people , he than looks down at the well armed raiders and whishes he has his Super Cattle-Prod, Mega Powerfist, Or his M60. He looks around and waits for his better armed friends to engage , since his spiked knuckles and spear aren't going to do him very well.

*after he acknowledges the party he levels his crosshairs in his hunting rifle on the raider's , a flash, a bang , and a steaming hole in a Jackhammer wielder's chest , the raiders with M60's open fire on the cliff side pinning Aerakade down , but giving the small group (Fang and Gang) an oppurtunity to attack, after a moment a frag grenade flies over the cliff side , it does minimal damage to the raiders , but some cuts and what not, and they disperse.

Rad: What the fucking hell?!? *looks up to where Aerakade stands* Oh well! We've got pleasant company! Scatter and shoot!

*Rad and Reptile darts out each side of the bush, firing their OICW's and M16's at the raiders while Dutch still lies there, unable to do anything for the battle - yet.*

*One of the M60-wielders turns to Rad, but the raider is unable to turn quick enough with the cumbersome weapon. The bullets just spray a tail after Rad as he runs.*

Rad: *Dives for cover behind a rock, just in time, as a hail of M60 bullets crash into the rock. The rock is starting to rapidly deteriorate under the massive fire* Reptile, take this fucker down!

RAd: *over the gunfire* DO SOMETHING.....
Reptile takes his OICW switches to 20mm Grenadelauncher he throws the gun on top pf his cover he uses the advanced sight to get a clear shot....

Raider: *while fireing his M60 he sees a red dot on the ground near him and then it is in his eye* SHIT!

The High Explosive 20mm Round Hits the raider in the face the whole head is blown cleen off.....

Rad God SHOT thereGrabbs his M16 takes aim and start shooting......

At the same time Dutch that have gone around the Enemy is now behind a shotgun fireing Raider......
He takes the Brassknockle and hits the raider in the Neck and throws his spear in the Legg of another...... the one that he did hit in the neck turns around and draws a knife but thats to late a coupple of fast punches in the face and the raider is falling down bloody.....
the second raider: Aarg my legg *he turn his M60 against Reptile and Rad* And pinns them down....
*then he turnes against Dutch and says "Bye Motherfucker" He aims his M60.....
Aerakade: Shit he aims with his Rifle and Blam the raider takes for his chest..... Dutch... God damn it he takes the enemys shotgun and sticks it into the face of the screaming raider Blam There is Blood bones and Brain alloveer the ground.....

Reptile: Good jobb.... he walks down to the dutch with Rad, Aerakade is also coming down......

*Rad walks around, searching for raiders still alive, and notices one that is still twitching slightly. He walks over to him and kicks him hard in the bloodied metal armor, this makes him roll over so Rad can see his face.*

Raider: *moaning* Don't... shoot...

Rad: What? That's your final word? Was that really the best you could say? *takes his M16 in one hand, lowers the underbarrel shotgun to the raider's temple and prods him* NOW WAS IT, GHOUL-FACE?

Raider: No! No! Don't! *terrified* Don't do it!

*At this point, Rad squeezes the trigger. The assault rifle jumps as the buckshot pulverizes the front of the raider's cranium. His whole forehead implodes messily and bloodily into his skull, like smashing a pumpkin. His whole face is now just a mess of brains and blood. The part from his vertex to his upper lip has been turned into a grisly, hollow mask with blood flowing out of it. The raider lies completely still on the ground as a grey-red pool forms under his head.

Rad: Messy! Well, maybe we should keep on moving. We're very close to their base now. *reloads the M16's clip, stuffs a shell into the tactical shotgun and flicks on the safety*

*the stranger clad in combat armor (MKII) walks towards the group* *he looks at them slowly, he pays little attention to the group, and palms a stim-pack or two from the guys he downed , than he looks at the group , looks at Dutch Grabbing the M60's with his bloody knuckles, and the other men with blood covering them besides Reptile (since he was at a distance with his attacks, no close head shots or spiked knuckles and shot-gun face shots) and nods too him*

Dutch takes off his brass knuckles and throws it aside rather disgusted with the heat of the fight cheap shots, and grabs both of the M60's and one stim-pack, than looks at the other bodies not finding anything worht while.

Dutch: "Come on guys, lets head out."

Aerakade: (if he wants to) Where we headed ?

Rad: "A Slaver Camp or something, Dutch there knows the way."

Reptile: Introduces everyone to Aerakade and than Aera decides to go with them.


They move out and stop on a cliff side finding the base, a dozen or so really well armed gaurds , with about 100 slaves.

"This isn't going to be easy at all, these guys are using Plasma weapons and Mini-guns, Flamers AND rocketlaunchers , smallest thing I see is an FN FAL.

Raiders-
1 Fn Fal
3 Laser Rifles
2 Mini-guns
1 Rocket Launcher
1 Flamer
3 Plasma Pistols (varied)
1 Jackhammer
 
A suprise arrival

As the group peer down into the base they see Fang siting behind a rock. He's in a raider uniform streched over his power armour. The Right arm now bear the mark of the Raiders. What was fang doing here had he betrayed the group?

Then suddenly he notices them and looks around to see who's watching and then he waves. A reassuring smile comes over his face as if to say "no not really did you think i betrayed you?,"

What can also be seen is a mounted weapons platform with the BOS mark on. it is mounted on an anti-gravity device and is VERY heavily armed. It has a new BOS gun mounted on it that the group have NEVER even SEEN. So they would get help from Fang after all.
 
A new face...

On the opposite side of the slaver base, a lone man walks slowly but purposefully towards the base. Dressed in a long, black trenchcoat, he has a sawn-off shotgun and a Katana sword on his back.
As he approaches the base, he spots Fang and starts to slow down a bit, then he follows Fang's line of sight and sees the group perched on the cliff and he stops completely. About 100 metres from the base, he crouches beside a pile of rocks and a dead tree, and waits to see what will happen.

Three questions:

1: How do we tell who Fang is when he's in disguise and Power Armor?

2: How can we see his face to know he's smiling ?

3: This isn't a question, more of a statement, but if his anti-gravity state of the art brotherhood weaponry is so new how did he get it and have time to join the slaver (not raider) forces before we could take a ten minute hike to the base ?

(ooc) Hey man it's his character , just aslong as he doesn't vaporize the base or something I don't care, after all even people in power armor die, it's not like he's invincible or something.

*can't really make out who the person waiving to them is besides the fact he looks ackward wearing Slaver clothes with powerarmor on , and just assumes (so as not to cause an arguement) that it's fang, but as he's waving he gets spotted by a slaver with a rocket launcher the slaver trips the alarm and fires his rocket off at Fang just before he gets mowed down by Dutch's blazing M60, a few slavers run out , but some of them stay inside and out of harms way, almost instantly Mini-gun fire opens on the group and some FN Fal fire on Fang*

(raider w/Fn Fal) "I knew I didn't recognize that one !" he screams as he unloads a clip of FN Fal at Fang.

I know i am new here, but I have a rule, and that's don't state otehr people's damage, like don't say someone HITS Me , but say that they shoot at me, and I'll determine (and do my best to be fair) wheather they hit me, likewise with everyone's character I think they should have the right to state their combat actions because they know what they can and can not do.

OOC: Hey Aera, forget about having the thing hyper-realistic, that'll just make the whole story a big mess. And Dutch, i think it's okay to post for other people (as long as it's not too serious), just to keep some pace in the story.

IC:

*The bullets whiz by everyone's ears, but the slavers are too confused by the sudden assault to focus their fire.*

Rad, hidden behind a large rock: (thinks) M-16 bullets won't do much damage at this range... *gets an idea*

*Nods to Reptile, who is sitting behind another rock not far away. Rad points in the direction of the raiders, points at Reptile's OICW, and makes a "boom" with his hands. Reptile takes the hint, sets the OICW on top of the rock and lets the tracking system calculate the range to the two minigunners, who have conveniently positioned themselves next to each other, with their backs together.*

Reptile: Here u go *he aims his OICW the 20mm Projektile hits the Fal shooting raider in the legg and the legg is blown off......

Fang: Time To kill!!! *he ripps off the Raider uniform and aims his plasma the plasmabolt is burns a raider alive.....*

A raider start shooting at fang with a Minigun Fang is forced to retreat as another joins the first raider

Smaug rounds the raiders and sees that A man armed with a rifle is coming against him HE draws his Katana and goes behind cover and as the man comes forward he puts his catana against the mans neck but the Man let his OICW go and Draws a Desert Eagle that he sticks into the attackers Face.....
Smaug: Reptile What are u doing here....
Reptile: Smaug u old ***** Lets save the presentation for later we'w got some work to do....
Smaug: GOD IDEA!!!

Aerakade: DIE *fires his rifle* YOU *fires again* MOTHER *moves and fire* FUCKING *takes aim* ASSHOLE *and kills the raider*

Rad: DIE *fires his M16 at the enemys.... and dutch joins him*

Raider Leader: MIKE (another raider) Can u get that big metal "monster in sight and make a hole in it"
MINK(raider):Yes sire *putts his plasma away and takes a .50 Barett Anti material Rifle from his back...... and takes aim at Fang and gets fangs Helmet in sight...... "BYE MOTHERFUCKER" he thinks*.......

Dutch opens M60 fire on the slaver taking aim at Fang, not taking him down , but stopping his attack momentarily when Dutch is blasted out of his cliff, away from his protection and his weapon by a rocket, he lands at the feet of a flame thrower slaver, he seems doomed as the machine gunners are out of range, while a grenade would be too nasty and Fang has problems of his own , a flash from the cliff-side, and the slaver's eye is blown out by Aerakade, Dutch counts his blessings as he staggers to stand up, a man with an FN-Fal points it at Dutch's head and CLICK, it's empty , the man starts to reload while Dutch drops, rolls, and in doing grabs the flamethrower and turns the man to ash, he starts to stand, but the concusive blast of the rocket and than falling down the hill takes effect, and he goes unconcious.
