Still looking to buy Fallout 3 cheap?

So, is Bethesda going to complain they are loosing a lot of potential income because of the second hand market like some other publishers do?

If the present economic .. ah .. situation is any indicator of how *smart* ... "smart money" can be,

perhaps with other investment commodities despairing to negative 30 or 40 %, anticipate a stampede to riches ...

B-soft products might fair better as a stable means of exchange then the reputed traditional money pits.

Particularly with all the 11 out of 10 scores that high light the middle paragraphs that diddle on about mediocrity ... pump up -- pump up the VALUE!

Well, what other consumer icon exists whose farts don't stink! ... pump up -- pump up the VALUE!

How many Amazon Survivor packs for that new Cadillac? ... pump up -- pump up the VALUE!

Can we convert that into copies of Oblivion and get a few score gallons of gas? ... pump up -- pump up the VALUE!

Necklaces of FO3 adorn the trendy, idle rich ... pump up -- pump up the ... drum beat!

Word...Bought mine ( PC Collector ) for 65 euros, sold it for 61.

What does it mean though ? That people usually don't sell Fallout 3 back and that's why second hand Fallout 3s are rather expensive ?

That's a pretty good thing then. You can just buy the game, and sell it when you're done for a loss of maybe 5-10 dollars.

Still, I don't know if the time to play the game is worth it :).

I guess I will have to wait a lot longer for me to buy it used. But maybe I'll just wait long enough for the Complete Fallout 3 to come out with the expansions included and then buy that used. I'm not paying over $20 US for it.

Well, it could also mean that the demand for second-hand FO3s is very high. In this case, we'll find out soon because the demand should drop as soon as more people play FO3 and get disappointed in it.

my guess is that the "high resale value" is simply due to it not being out for very much of the year and all the hype the game got making people think it was a quality title.

dont forget the lack of serious competition in the RPG market for the aprox. last 2 years.

I guess a few people searching for games that deserve the term "RPG" could get somewhat desperate
