Suggestions for FO3

I have to agree. As much as I like that 73 GT Falcon XB or "Interceptor" that Max drives I also feel it isnt close to the era of styling that makes up alot of Fallout's styling. BUT then again the Hummer isn't really Fallout era so its a catch 22. The Hummer was originally introduced into the world in 85 (correct me if I am wrong there) but only aviliable to civilians starting in 92. However there is one common feature here... the Hummer is in America where as the Falcon is unique to Australia with the exception of a handfull imported by some Americans that can afford that.

Personaly... I like the cars from that era or ones like the dune buggy that are basicaly "bits and pieces". While the Hummer is nice I woudnt mind keeping it all with cars of the Fallout general era. Older cars, well worn in and some modified for all terain general use, would be a welcome sight.

Yeah, but think of the possibilities of an El Camino with a 50 cal in the bed. But I want to be able to drive around for like races or flipping cars over, or jumping mongols. This is why I also want "The Fall" to come out I heard that game will be able to do that.

I'd truly love to see a post-apoc game with Mad Max action and vehicles, but I don't want Fallout 3 to be it. Fallout 3 should have its fair share of Mad Max influence, just like its predecessors, but it should not *Be* a Mad Max game. The ideas of vehicular combat in Fallout 3 have been done over before... In this thread even.

If they bought the highwayman back i'd be very pleased maybe i'd meet someone in the story who has an old camper van or school bus i could trade it for. No vehicular combat thanks.
Having a bus (like those yellow ones that always get hijacked in films)could mean more party members and any you don't take along on a mission with you could stay behind on the bus.
Bethseda are gonna need to fill out the game with zillions of comic ideas and fillers like the 6th toe, shotgun wedding, the sex toy, dermal implants, killing the president ect - i hope they can do this.
I'd also hate there to be added skills like gunsmithing and breaking things down into components a la KOTOR.

If they did bring the highwayman back it should be pulled by a team of brahmin, or maybe centaurs being as they're camel like. Is that enough of a Mad Max reference for people?

I still want to see my railroad idea put into practice. Would make a nice touch of connecting the surviving world together. - Colt
