Welsh: Nicely said, but I'd argue that, even though there are zealots on both sides(and there always will be zealots), the zealots should not be controlling the political situation.
In other words, both Israel and Palestinia should be working TOGETHER to stop those terrorsts. But that is not what I see them doing, and frankly, certain political leaders are undermining any possibility of something like that(Sharon, Arafat).

It's more of a symbol than a deterence Syphon. The Palestinians try to break through the gate all the time, and they usually cut a piece off before tear gas is deployed or bullets.

Well we can thanks hitler and israel for this bullshit: after the second war, the allies have discover camps full of jew, jew that have nowhere to go.
