All over the news at the moment is a story about a couple of young girls who killed themselves on sunday.

I didn't know them and they were no body important but it really hurt me so much hearing this, I just think it is a sad waste of life, they didn't have bad lives, people are dieing of cancer trying to grasp on what little life they have left, theses girls just threw it all away.

I think it is a cowards way out that cause's more pain to the people around you then you could possibly imagine.

I know what it is like to be low and I have got to a point where I thought about it, but I didn't want to hurt anyone in doing it.

I hope they found peace in the end.
 
Wow they were so young! They also said one of the girls was a bit of a recluse.

I knew a girl who was like that, but when anyone tried to make friends with her (including me), she'd stick the knife in. Its hard to know what to do when people are that way.

KQX, your way of thinking is that of a normal, healthy human being. I don't have a slightest clue what's going on in a mind of a soon-to-push-up-the-daisies teen, but I believe these people are in such a state, that killing themselves is as easy as snapping fingers.

Why cowardly? Cause they don't have the cojones to fight and cope with their situation, they choose to take the easiest way, which, according to them, will solve everything (literally).
 
Wow, I'm impressed that they hanged themselves. Girls usually take sleeping pills or slit their wrists, so they can be still saved if someone happens to walk by. They certainly weren't just attention whores. Wow.

But yeah, even though I am impressed, it is a sad, sad thing.

I agree with Serifan it is a cowards way out learn to deal with your problems without hurting those around you.

Yeah. Of course it's tough for those close to them - I'd obviously be in great grief if someone close to me would up and off him/herself. But newsflash: people do it everyday, it's a tough world. They don't get my special sympathy just for being 16 y/o girls from a rich country.

Now seriously, I honestly respect Serifan's desire to post the news about these girls, and to vent his frustration with wasted youth.

If every parent was like Luxor we'd star in Fallout 3 already.

Exactly. Their deaths were their own doings, no one else’s. This story doesn't really raise any useful debates for the improvement of law/society/humanity and as such is pretty useless.

Still you have to feel a bit sad for them and wonder what they must have been feeling for such an action to occur.

Suicide sucks, because one wastes his life instead of taking his enemies with him.
 
At least the simpleton has shown those spoiled rich bastards that they don't own the world.

(Not that I approve killing people. It's better to live and create than to die/go to jail just to kill a piece of shit.)

Now, I consider my self to have a rather strong moral compass, but the only thing that stopped me from offing myself when I was down was cowardice. Hey, at least I'm an honest coward.

People should not become parents if they can't handle their children killing themselves in some horiffic manner. Stands to reason. Did nobody ever tell them parenthood was hard?

Also, if someone spends friggin' eight hours a day in front of the comp, make sure they spend at least a half of that friggin' working and not browsing damn blogs 'bout suicide.

Other than that, if someone can't take it, well - I mean, mankind's surely got enough spares.
