Talking Heads

What sort of format?
Format doesn't matter. You can import stuff from .obj file.

Could you upload the files to ftp?
When I decide to delete them. They're safe for now.

Anyway, something for the fun:

No, I got bored --> opened old file --> re-defined it --> added few details --> rendered --> archived

I rendered him in Leather Armour, because I forgot about sexy-walking-talking-tank :wall:

-------------------------EDIT

Walking-talking-tank added!

-------------------------EDIT2

It's moar fun than with Poser's barbies!

Did you textured the power armor thingy? I totally forgot.

And never ever junk this stuff, I will need new talking heads later as well. :P

No textures, it's a procedural material (the same as used on that metal-ish thingies "attached" to Leather Armour). IIRC, the armour isn't finished. And some day I must finish with Metal Armour.

So far I only deleted first TH (Mr. Scarface). He was a test head anyway. If some dark thoughts pop up about some deleting I'll forward files to Dude101 and he'll send them to hell (MR's FTP thingy) to save them for future generations (next-gen) of Fallout/Fallout 2 modders.

I am truly blown away by your art skills *props*

I honestly admire you.

I saw the ghoul head I agree with Tagaziel I was also gonna suggest big lidless eyes, but one lidless sounds better. I believe greenish skin would also look awsm.

Keep up the good work, you have my admirations.

Conti when you render the heads with the textures (I assume you will), can you render one set without the heads, just armor and pass them to me …what I’m thinking of doing is adding the Fallout 2 heads, so that when the critters upgrade their armor the talking heads reflect the change in appearance. So it would require renders of Max leather, normal leather, Combat armor and Power armor. Is that too much…

I take it you won't finish it?
Maybe some day, but not now for sure.

And doing a lot of combinations to fit the size - just look how small-ish Myron's body is*. Also, every piece of armour, for each TH should look unique. Not worth an efforts.

* and by changing it you'll kill vision/intention of original artists/designers and you'll become HERETIC!

This is something i've long wanted to do. I asked Killap about it and he says he's happy to include it in the RP, but some technical problems need to be overcome first. MIB88 did a test ages ago, and said that TH's can be replaced with new, armored variants via scripting. But all the TH's audio has to be copied and re-named for the 'new' head. So it adds alot of MB. Shouldn't be a problem though.

Something for the fun (once again):

I made a still of Mr. Whip in higher resolution and little a bit different lightning.

Nice piece, although... Lets say the guy's really not scary all along... SOFTASS!

Is that definitely a Metzger, or possibly another future abandoned gfx project I'll try to salvage n' steal in like 2013? :D

What about dubbing (+lips synchronization)?

Someone still remembers Vinnie? I've made him with poser long time before and wanted to use him for Shattered Destiny 2. Some time ago now, I figured, that he doesn't really fit anymore and so I will not use him for my next Fallout 2 mod. As I hate it to keep stuff closed, I decided to simply upload it.

He has all animations done. (The evil animations are best looking) Sadly, back then, I wasn't very experienced with converting the color palette in a good way. He could look better nowdays, but I don't have any other source files anymore. This is the only stuff that is left of my former talking head experiment.

If someone is interested in it out of whatever reason, I've uploaded him here.
