Crash is shit, I can't believe it won Best Picture and Screenplay. That is all.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, Rachel Weisz deserved an Oscar solely on account of sheer hotness.

Yeah, you're more the Brokeback Mountain type of fag, aren't you?

Anyway: Crash deserves them Oscars. It's one of the best movies I've seen this year, and highly original.

And Reese Witherspoon deserves her Oscar because she's got nice titties and a face that spells 'I'm such a dirty little <strike>girl</strike> slut'... *whips out cock, strokes balls, ignores boss who walks into the office*

I guess the amount of replies here says a lot about how boring the show was. I managed to sit through the first half, and then i figured i'd be more entertained if i studied.

I was motivated to watch because of Jon Stewart, but his whole "performance" was just bo-ring. It's not that he had a different sense of humor last night, it's just that big events like this are really not his thing. He's great on the Daily show, but most of his humor relies on visual aids and the small audience.

Oh and Ben Stiller should just be shot.

Or that people don't care about the Academy Awards in general.

I've even recorded them so I could watch them today. Just didn't have the time to see that yesterday. Alright, I've never seen this Jon-guy's actual daily show, but Billy Crystal and Chris Rock were a lot better when they hosted the show.

Overall, I'm just glad that not that many actors that I really like died last year. I'll miss Pat Morita though. He was a kinda cheesy actor but I like(d) his attitude and his roles.

Haven't seen Crash or most of the other nominated movies so I can't say wether I find they deserved their Oscars or not. But I absolutely thought Howls moving Castle deserves one. Instead Wallace and Gromit got it.

Jon's show (Craig really wasn't that funny), and the Colbert Report afterwards, are both a good source of news that the main media just won't print. They are also both funny as hell.

Seriously, Brokeback is just another movie about two people who are in love and are divided by the social conventions of the time. That's it. But of course guys can't see it because, "Oh shit, their gay! Let's change the fucking constitution and kill all fags."

If that's you, please do shoot yourself and rid the gene pool of another line of imbeciles. Christ, I mean after 6 years of W haven't you young republicans realized that supporting the conservative is the same as openingly declaring yourself an asshole?

"Oh we have got to change the constitution because we need to make sure love is defined by the state or the church." Yeah! Like I ever thought about the state or the church when I was boning some girl. Ok, that's not quite true. I do recall someone says, "Oh my God! Oh my God! I'm cumming I'm cumming!"

And now we change the constitution so people can't associate and love who they want to, but won't change a constitution to protect your privacy.

The whole "enforced acceptance" of Brokeback Mountain" is the only thing that makes the Oscars even vaguely interesting, if only because it's such a wasted effort on it's target audience.

I fail to see why any intelligent person is interested in eating stale popcorn and watching the back of somebody's head. Or giving directors and movie critics a collective rimjob.

I liked Jon Stewart, so the night wasn't really wasted for me, but the one thing that bothered me with this event is that i can no longer use my cowboy coat. When i go out with him, in colder days, every gay in town starts smiling at me. Rats, i really like the coat, it came from texas in the early 80's and it really it's great against the cold.

Now don't try and fool us no more, Briosa. We know all about your mountain vacations with your fishing buddies. Let's just say you don't go up there to fish.
