The Alien movies.

I was extremely disappointed with Alien Ressurection, I don't consider Alien v. Predator to be any part of the saga. Alien 3 was good, I really liked it, but I wish they hadn't killed off Cpl. Hicks. Aliens was the best, and Alien was very good but I liked the sequel better, which is odd since most seris' traditionally go downhill.
 
I think honestly if you like Alien or Aliens better simply depends on weather you prefer Horror to Action movies. Alien had more Horror elements, with a dash of action. Aliens had Action elements, with a strong dash of Horror. Both are excellent.
