So, Rockies or Red Sox?


I'm leaning towards the Rockies in 6.

As for last night, Beckett wasn't going to let the rockies win, he's just too good.


And when the series gets to Colorado, the Sox are going to have a rough time figuring out just who to play without the DH position.
 
One thing Prez and I CAN agree on... Rockies all the way baby. I live in the home of underdog sports, in the Pacific NW. So naturally, I've got to go for the little guy.... Even though they are getting hammered. Eight days of cool down will do it to yu.

Edit: Speaking of baseball in my neck of the woods... The awful Bonds roomers have been flowing about up here...

Not to mention that Red Sox fans (at least the majority of one's I've ever met) are EXTREMELY annoying.
 
I think the series will make it back to Fenway Paak. The Sox are going to sorely miss Ortiz/Youkilis, one of which will have to sit when they go to Coors.
 
wow, 4 comments in and no one has commented on how stupidly named the world series is. Maybe this year will be different.

Actually, I think he mispoke. What he should've said is "Nobody has mentioned that baseball is not a sport, it is fucking boring, and no one but fucktards watch it."
 
Hey, don't forget the Canadians. Although yes, it would be nice to have some say, exclusively Japanese and Latin American teams in something with 'World' in the title.

Cricket is a better game.

I'd agree with you, if I understood how the hell the game is supposed to be played...

Though I must admit, cricket bats are much better than the regular louisville sluggers that I wind up breaking every now and then.

Yeah, it's the first one.

I wanted him to become the permanent Captain America, but alas, it'll be probably wind up that Winter Soldier a.k.a. Bucky will assume that role.
 
I don't read enough comics no more. I should. I've only read bits of the Civil War storyline recently.

You've got to learn what Riots are for! Up here in Seattle, we know how to have a good rioting time!

It's already the world series, go play in the olympics if you want teams divided by nationality.
