The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints and poligimy

Where'd That 6th Toe Come From?
first off, "The fudimentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints" is not the same as "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints", they are a completely different organization altogether
and have completely different views and belives.

secondly it is the FLDS (The Fudimentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints) that belives in poligimy, not the LDS ( The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints).
i grow tired of hearing hatful remarks towards the LDS church, that are in fact directed at the FLDS.

myself, being Mormon grow tired of misinformed racist remarks.
as i have never based my opinions of people by there religions, I would like very much to be treated the same way.

Now if you wanted info here it is, the FLDS is based in Colorado. their prophets name is Jeff warrens and is reported to have 50-70 wifes. they are ingaged in extreme brain washing, under age marriage, molestation, incest, and forced sexual relation ships.

women are forced to live in walled compounds and are treated from early ages to be house wifes, often never seing the outside world and more often than not becoming pregnant at extremely early ages.

thats the info i have so far, searchin for more. night all

Dude, this guy is my hero!

Don't you know what happens when you put a whole lot of women together?
Thier periods synchronise.... which mean you get PMS times 50... it's just not worth it.

 Oh no, this can't be. It's like a terrible nightmare UJ. If I were ever in that situation I'd fall asleep on the railroad tracks.

50 women menstruating on the same time... *shudders*

I've just created an entire new vision on Hell...

YOu know, I'm really really really wondering why he posted this here. It has no relevance at all...

It sure hasn't. I say bob_the_rambler is an attention whore, and you know what we say to those:

Woopsie!

Yeah, because the LDS gave up polygamy in a second with a nice few words from the US President.

O, wait. Guess what? We had to mobalize half the US Army and point a revolver at the President's head to get him to give it up.

Mormonisim is the worst branch off of Christanity, period. It makes Islam look like the Anglican church.

Well damn dude. I guess nobody better fuck with YOUR Christianity, eh? After all, people just shouldn't be able to have the freedom to believe whatever they want, eh?

I'd like to hear Tone's thoughts on these matters.

Hey, CC, post something about LDS on the TO forum.

Actually I would like to hear more from Tone on this as well, and here.

But the mormons do take a lot of shit from the other christian sects as not being quite as christian.

But hey, maybe organized religion is just the business of public relations for God, and God is out to lunch. To bad for God, because organized religion is BIG business.

Ohhhhh, Tone is SO gonna kick your ass.....

EDIT: And thank you for completely ignoring my post on the matter of stem cells and such. It's really beginning to make you look like you just got pwned every time you do that...

My middle name is Hinkley, honestly. He can suck my dick, I know alot more about it then he does.

Mormonisim is in no way Christian.
A), the belief in a mother goddess, which, odddly enough, you get excomunicated about revealing
B) No Trinity, all three of them (plus the aforementioned mothet god) are Gods. And because of C, the argument could be made that Joseph Smith and Brigham Young are now gods
C) "As God was may man become"
D) The Book of Mormon places Eden in central Missouri, has Elephants, Semetics, Horses and Iron in the new world
E) People are dark because their ancestors where bad. Smith supported the "mark of cain" idea for slavery, and even incorporated it into the Book of Mormon (the Lamanites become bad, therefore God "marks" them)

Sander, I am moody, and have not been in the mood to post another rant on the subject. Ill get it done within a few days though, I promise.

As we are the spirit children of God, it might suffice that we would have a spiritual mother. Oh, no, now I might get excommunicated... Of course if that were truly the case thousands of missionaries would be excommunicated also. That just doesn't happen.

All three are part of the Godhead. All are one in purpose. (I'll address this in detail later, I've got a church function to go to, let me press on).

C) "As God was may man become"

Romans 8:16-17
Revelation 3:21
Ephesians 4:11-13
2 Peter 1:4
1 John 3:2

Do some reading, I'm not going to type them all out for you.

I'll research that, but there is a heck of a lot of archaelogical support for the BOM.

Yes, that is discussed. I'm going to reread that part before I type my rebuttle.

What a travesty!! as a mormon myself, soo many people have no idea what our church is all about, and you can all find out more about us, and how we are a christian church with a beleif in Jesus Chirst, find out more at http://www.lds.org/, or call your local church, theres probably one near you, and get the missionaries to stop by, they can answer almost any questions that you might have, and please take this in the best way possible, and find out more. And have a great day!

Meh, I'll just watch Southpark. There's a great episode I caught a few weeks ago that basically said that the whole BOM thing is "dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb" but that the message is all that matters. Believe in what you want, and if your church believes in such silly stories IMO, fine as long as it gets morality across.

Also acts as evidence why Southpark is better than Simpsons, but I digress.

Does this mean that if I don't call they won't stop by? Because that hasn't been my experience...

Blood hell :!:

Why that guy started this post? Did someone here said something about his religion in the first place or its a new trick to call our attention to his preaching?

No, as I said before, it's completely irrevelant and silly. There was no reason at all to post it.

Plus, Simpsons pwns South Park. Simpsons is like the godfather of South Park. Hah!
South Park may be cool, and it may have it's political messages, the Simpsons have messages like that every single episode, and their episodes are all decent, because they don't have Terrance and Philip episodes.

Woohoo! Derailment. ;)

Apparently you are unfamiliar with this show called Southpark...

Southpark is one giant message, and I haven't seen Terence and Philip on a recent one. Foolish Netherlander!
