THE FALL TOTAL CONVERSION ? "MUTANT CITY"
Standalone Addon to THE FALL announced: THE FALL:MUTANT CITY
It seems like SSE has released a "press release cd" introducing their new THE FALL title. (release date 2006)
It is an Addon that plays 3 years after the setting in THE FALL 1 .
The Addon will not need THE FALL 1, it will be a standalone game and will have nothing to do with THE FALL1 but the global setting/background.
New threats, new gangs, introduction of mutants which are fighting their own war against humanity. (devs said game still will be a realistic game with not too much fiction, everything will be explained in a logically way).
Appearantly this Addon doesnt just add new location and quests to THE FALL 1, it doesnt use any content from THE FALL1 , it got all new locations and characters .
i have translated the list of fewatures,well not too spectular, reminds me to the one of THE FALL 1 , but i guess everything will be improved and further enhanced, more realikstic, more non linear quests and plot etc in the addon.

there are some screenshots, that exactly look like THE FALL1.
As we can see they will use the very same graphic engine.

im fine with that if they manage to use higher texture resolutions, especially for the main characters and faces.
btw:
the german community asked why they want to add new weapons and stuff if the combat system is not challenging at all. they hope there will be a better combat system for Mutant City, more challenging, more interaction with enviroment, more enemy intelligence. etc
