The Insidious Design Of Modern Fallout Games

They took a game bloated with DLC, and with damage sponges, and then went 'fuck it, more DLC and damage sponges'.

And loot better?

I could get like 30 oranges in an hour in borderlands 1, in Borderlands 2, I found 2, in total, after being the game.
I found it to be a fun game for messing around with friends. Alone though it could get pretty boring.

So in other words, you're an agenda-pushing troll who should be disregarded and ignored? Got it.

Enough said.

I just don't understand why make several accounts but post pretty much the same thing with them.
Perhaps they want to feel validated and make it seem like they have a point even though it's obvious that they don't? IIRC other infamous trolls on this site have done this once or twice, right?

I still get the feeling that Brycen and Tiamin are the same people even though Hassknecht is in a far better position to tell otherwise. Their writing styles and posts are a bit too similar for a coincidence (reminds me of Greed/Someguy). Either that or trolls are taking writing courses from the same sites.

If a game has singleplayer, I judge its singleplayer.

As a singleplayer game, its like WoW with guns, and even spongier enemies.
Enemies only turn into bullet sponges in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode which is a really bad mode. In True Vault Hunter Mode most enemies die in a couple of seconds and that's where the game should have stopped. Not to mention OP levels, whoever thought that was a good idea should be slapped silly into unconsciousness.

And to be honest the fact that legendaries dropped so often in Borderlands 1 it just cheapen them to the point of me starting to sell them because they were clogging my inventory. Not to mention how 90% of them are just slightly stronger purples with no unique features, at least in Borderlands 2 most of them had unique features.

Enemies in the standard endgame are stupid damage sponges.

Unless you use slag or elemental shit, you'll die in a handful of bullets, and enemies take upwards of a hundred.

Its fucking retarded when enemies my level can absorb an entire TWO turrets with the rocket upgrade, and take only 30% damage.

Ironically, it strongly looks as if Fallout: New Vegas, essentially, advocates narcotics, prostitution and gambling, among other things, by creating, considering the context, a ridiculous and implausible faction like Caesar's Legion, who dislikes them, and by lumping such dislikes with various contradicting atrocities and absurdities, along with ridiculous-looking armor. All things considered, and that there is something rotten in Fallout: New Vegas, it's as if the players are meant to form a psychological association between these characteristics, which makes it stupid and malicious garbage.
I genuinely have no idea what you are talking about right now.

This is so poorly-worded, and even if it was well worded, it's probably nonsense.

This is not meant to advocate any other Fallout title in particular, but to say that there is something that stinks about Fallout: New Vegas, anyway.

Yeah I have to reply to this too.

Firstly, prostitution and gambling are fine, they can be exploited, but you can OD on fucking water.

Caesars Legion is genuinely a faction who, literally, can be your preferred faction depending on what you agree with, they have ups and downs just like the NCR.

The player is persuaded NOT TO USE DRUGS as you can become addicted to them, which has downsides.

Too bad you can't OD on more-or-less clean air, being able to die from water is still not hardcore enough. :falloutonline:

New Vegas?

Sarcastic

Go to hell

I see your point

Indeed! Minecraft propagands killing animals, GTA V propagands theft and crimes, Dota 2 propagands serial killing, Fallout propagands nuclear war, CS:GO propagands becoming a terrorist, Dishonored propagands being a merciless shithead and Planet Earth propagands being a degenerate, who sees cospiracy everywhere!

Not even pop, but high partial pressures of nitrogen for example are also deadly to some degree. Inert gas narcosis, although excess oxygen is also deadly.
Basically, everything kills.

Also, this is a game set in fucking Vegas.

Who would complain about gambling and prostitution in a game set in Vegas.

That's certainly not how regular mode works. If you just walk into a place and start shooting it up you might but with even a little thought for cover and maybe some sniping, you'll be fine. Heroes Pass is not hard. And the DLC was fun. Ludicrous? Absolutely,? Fun? Oh fuck yes. I loved, LOVED campaiign of carnage. Borderlands 2 DLC, at least the main ones were worth every penny.

Surprised you said Borderlands and not Tetris or Checkers/Chess. Because those two (three) are worth every penny too and are also ludicrously fun.

I would also make a joke about CT Phills and the fact that Skyrim is not worth the price because he can imagine this extensive world and the character interactions while looking at a bunch of rocks outside of his house, but I'm too lazy.:revolution:

I like quests more advanced than 'shoot dude in face'.
