So, let me set the scene for you. I'm replaying the original Fallout, and remembering why I love it. In fact, through the course of this recent playthrough I've realized that it's my favorite Fallout game. I saved Killian Darkwater, killed Gizmo, sided with Razor and the Blades in The Hub, took Necropolis' water chip and blasted my way out've there, killing ghouls and super mutants alike, and joined the Brotherhood. Then I made it to the Cathedral. Now, I'm playing as Albert Cole. I maxed out Speech... and Small Guns. So I murder everybody on the Cathedral's first floor, go up to the top floor, and have Morpheus escort me to the Master after taking Mentats. I show him Vree's holotape, convince him to kill himself and Unity, and save (in case I die, it's nice to reload at the countdown and not have to talk to him all over again). As I'm escaping, I get shredded by super mutants (I never got power armor; in fact, I made a point to play the whole game in the vault suit). Anyways, I reload. Dialogue with Moreau opens, he says "You must be joking." and guns my ass down. Reload again. Master shoots me in the dick, blowing away half of my body. At this point it's happened 5 times and I've had it. I have Fallout Fixt installed, I'm playing on a No Purists Allowed install for fun, and it hasn't had any issues like this the entire playthrough. Is there any way to fix this? Or do I just have to reload an old save? It's more a minor inconvenience than anything but I just wanna know for future reference. In terms of specs, I've got Windows 10 and installed F1 from a disc I ordered off Amazon. Like I said, the game runs fine, I've just run into this weird scripting error and I don't know what to do.
