Good ol' Death metal

This band couldn't be death metal if they tried.

Ghostface Killah - Yapp City

Right now?

Velvet Underground's "Sister Ray." via the whole "White Light/White Heat" album. 'Bout done.

I also was listening to Captain Beefheart's "Trout Mask Replica". Again. Damn I love that album.

*Blush* Thanks.

Would I be even more favored if I told you most of what I listen to is Nick Cave- pre "No More Shall We Part" and the new album (which rocks e'ffin' HARD)?

Oh, which reminds me- right now I'm listening to the first Butthole Surfers album- don't remember the name. It's the one with "Gary Floyd" on it.

Agreed- though more specifically, his post-"Prayers on Fire" Birthday Party stuff is better- I just don't like his mellow stuff very much.

I bought Nocturna, but don't listen to it too much. Totally skipped "And No More Shall We Part," for the obvious reasons. Glad to see he's back into pre-"Boatman's Call" form.

one of my all-time favs. though i don't care too much for the new album, tbh.

"psychic, powerless, another mans sac" is the album. i love the surfers too...and while i would have said "cheers, those are great songs/albums/artists etc. the VU and Capt. Beefheart are much more important artists, and two of my top 10 desert island picks.
