House music is special indeed. And you french people are very well represented in that context - Yellow Recordings, the whole Africanism series etc. Ah, the artists that have moved my feet through so many years: DJ Gregory, Martin Solveig, Bob Sinclair, David Guetta, Daft Punk, Galleon, Stardust, Cassius, Laurent Garnier, Etienne De Crécy and so on.

I have not had my decks out of their boxes for some time now, and so I am not very updated on the subject, but aaaaah I love house music :)

I saw Ben Harper in Werchter. He sucks. I dunno why certain people like him so much, or maybe he simply had a bad day then.
Also: the version by The Verve is way better.

Probably a bad day. His music rocks. Have a look a this vid (I think I posted it earlier), it may change your mind. When you see him playing the guitar you can think he has paid the devil's price.

Also - I am a major music fan and love several genres, house being just one of them.
 
house is not a musical genre. it's not even music. it is an accident created by dancing junkies for european party losers. the end.
