The Obligatory "What are you listening to" Thread

I have been listening pretty much exclusively to my own made music for years. Please do not misinterpret this post as self promotion. I was listening to the song while browsing and I felt the *need* to post it here.

Eminem, a big staple, a little Limp Bizkit, and then some indie queer pop/guitar is sneaking in their as well. Also a bunch of 1990's/2000's gangster rap.

The recently released Iron Maiden album, Senjutsu. Overall i really enjoy it and i feel it's better than the previous two albums, but my main issue is some of the mixing. I think overall the mixing is fine, but some of the time you can't hear Bruce very clearly because he's buried a little too much in the mix. But speaking of Bruce, it's impressive for a man in his 60s and after surviving throat cancer to be hitting high notes so many times.

The last two songs, The Parchment and Hell on Earth (specially the latter) are amazing.
After hearing it more for an handful of weeks, this is actually one of my favorite albums since the reunion back in 1999. If i had to make a list of their albums they have released since 2000:

1 - Brave New World
2 - A Matter of Life and Death
3 - Senjutsu
4 - Dance of Death
5 - Book of Souls
6 - The Final Frontier

Even their worst reunion album is still great stuff and definitely better than what they released in the 90s (specially the Blaze Bayley albums). Really fascinating that they are still releasing albums 46 years into their career and still manage to release pretty good albums like Senjutsu.

But going back to Senjutsu, i hope down the line they release a remastered/remixed version that improves the mixing in the areas i complained about. Same for Book of Souls since they remastered all their albums in 2015 right before Book of Souls came out, so these two albums should also get that treatment too.

*Sadly he passed away on Aug. 7 from blunt force trauma to the head. :(
His death was ruled an accident by the medical examiner-coroner.
