Bolchi -- Get Ya Groove On


I saw this band live last night, and I must say: I like it. So I bought their debut album, and it rocks.
 
So I get this crappy collection of music entitled "Classic Rock hits" for my birthday. Unfortunately I dont like music enough to bother spending money on stuff like that, but the gift-givers dont realise this. Since I just got a CD player in my car that seemed enough reason for them...

So I get the suggestion its classic rock from the 60's, 70's, and 80's even. What I find is that of the 39 songs 1/3 are pop and 1/3 are from the 90's...the few songs that are rock from the right time period sucked.

...then I heard it. Perhaps the worst musical thing ever composed. It had music like that from a bad console rpg meant for the SNES, but at least in a game it would make sense. The lyrics were nonsensical and sung with no feeling not even to the music.

It made me want to retch...
