Who doesn't? The Red Army Choir is great!

The Soviet National Anthem is one of the few good ones (Scotland the Brave ranking very high too, the American and German ones being rather pathetic). Especially if you don't understand the lyrics, I guess.

Yeah, but you usually don't think of the translation when you hear it.

Since I don't speak Russian, it's not the same.

That aside -- they should have made our national anthem Freude Schöner Götterfunken (Ode to Joy) or something like that.
WAY stronger than the crap we got.

Well, at least it's the anthem of the EU -- even though as an anthem it doesn't have any lyrics, I think.
