I'm not sure what Fallout would have looked like in 1987, but I sure know what it looked like in 1988. Sometimes I want to explode those Bethesda guys like a blood sausage!

I see what you did there.

I'm guessing the fact that this is done in Japanese and was originally on Fallout 3's Japanese website means that it was just a fun project done by Bethesda's Japanese webmasters.

It was a reference to Wasteland, the spiritual predecessor to Fallout. If I recall correctly, inXile is working on a sequel (at the very least, they have the rights to it), but I don't think there's any news on that front.

InXile is too busy working on Hunted: The Demon's Forge.

We assumed Jason Anderson was working on Wasteland 2 for InXile but he left the studio recently. So who knows.

He somehow is jumping around a lot since some time now.

Or at least into a fine red mist. I was disappointed the Desert Rangers weren't discussed more in NV but the Mojave Outpost reference was nice.

It hasn't aged well what with all of the dialogue being in a book that you have to reference. The most damaging old school copy protection as it really harms the experience.

Oh that blows big time... loved the code wheel for monkey island on the amiga though :) or was it pirates... unsure!

I can actually understand some of the Japanese, but no matter what I do nothing ever seems to happen, every location just reboots whenever I choose any action. Is there like a guide for this or something?

It's like when SumsoluS posted recently for the first time in almost four years. OMG it's teh signs
