The Origins of Fallout, by Lead Designer R. Scott Campbell

Whoa! This is really cool, the love from the guy just shines out of the text... though this first chunk leaves off at the best part!

How about a Kickstarter project to release the next 2 pages.

It wasn't me, but most of the Van Buren wiki stuff came from me, Odin, Killzig or kumquatq3, with additional stuff from Kharn, Stillife, you and NCR_Ranger, Ausir and others just compiled it.

Actually, and with all due respect to your work on this, I didn't *just* compile it. I did acquire some of the Van Buren info myself as well.

Hee heeh, oh Ausir.

Also man, Campbell's early career was full of "bummer" moments. Worst thing is, today, many people, me included, don't really realize today how important he was for the original title. It's like the worst "bummer" of all.

This article will fix that!

Also, every game developer I've ever talked has had major bummer moments in his career. It's just not a very fun industry to work in.

I know it is necroposting, but the link for the first part doesn't work and i didn't find anything about the other. This seem to be a most precious content for any hardcore Fallout fan. I hope it didn't disapear.
