Jesus with a 50's haircut and peyot, that's got to be one of the strangest images I've ever seen.

See why Jesus Christ came to earth and how He dealt with the sin issue once and for all.

Yep, he sure dealt with sin once and for, didn't he? Just like John Wayne squaring off with a villianous cowboy, he knocked sin down for the count.

Fundamentalist christians might as well be robots. They can be fairly smart in some ways, but their minds are nothing but a one-way street. It's really scary that so many people can have intelligence yet have absolutely no critical thinking skills, imagination, or mental adroitness. I almost feel bad about all the money that gets bilked out of them by "preachers", but then again it's hard to have actual feelings for people who are like human player pianos.

You can almost feel the crackling flames of hell as you watch!

lol

Oh my God! The SOB didn't die yet? And he is cranking out more shit! Damn! Oh well after all the idiot isn't the one who tries to sell but the one who buys... If there are people stupid enough to buy that they fully deserve anything that they get! They should find a way to exclude them from the gene pool, or quarantine them somewhere, perhaps along with some islamic extremists, see what happens! :P should be entertaining!

It's not that strange. Critical thinking skills and imagination are fairly new concepts, when you consider the history of the West. You could say they appeared during the Enlightenment, but you'd be wrong. Real critical thinking as we know it is so 19th century...

It's funny because you'd expect the USA to have a stronger sense of individuality and critical thinking than Europe, but this is not always the case.

Meh. Still, individual and critical thinking are not inherent in Christianity, and some would argue it's detrimental to the religion. Much like is still very popular in islam, the idea that you should accept the word of God and STFU 'cause, y'know, it's God is still an essential part of Christianity.

But 'ey, on the other hand, Christianity has changed so much since the time of Jesus that I'd hardly call it the same religion. Shame, really, but then again, a religion either changes or dies.

*cries*

I really hate to say this, but some people deserve to be shot.

Oh yeah, and Christianity died in 380.

I figured you to be a fan of Aquinas and maybe Utopia, no?

And I'd say it's closer to 1439, with the fall of the Byzantine Orthodox Church to the rise of Catholiscism, though I hold nothing against the Catholics.

One things that catholics have over protestants (in the US at least) is that their money raising process is more dignified and doesn't capitalize on guillible morons as much. AFAIK Catholics give their money to the church proper, not to whatever carnival refugee disguised as a "man of god" happens to be be in town that week.

The above has nothing to do with your quote, just seemed like a good tangent to go on.

Yeah. I tend to respect Catholics more then any Protestand denomination.

No, I hate every single church. 1439 was just the fall of Constantinople.

The way they brainwash people is just disgusting. Say that about the Catholics, Protestants, Mormons, Jews, Muslims or whatever. Every religion makes me puke.

Every church that maintained itself half-assedly to its ideals eventually died away as sson as it became a mainstream trend", people worshipping the damn infrastructure, priests and power hierarchy more than God himself. Fuck'em.

Ah, Montez, sorry to give more ammo to the "enemy" in this debate. One thing against Catholic honesty concerning cash management: Remember the whole deal with the sin amnesties? "Give cash to build St Peters' and your sins will be forgiven!!11"

Yeah, if you love God, burn a church.

Not true for everybody.

That's why they reformed.

Still hate them.

Just as football.

Cretins vs. Cretins.

Cretins: 0 ; Cretins: 3
