THE PUNISHER Warzone w/ Titus Pullo !

Just got back and for me it was easily an 8 or 9/10. The dialogue in some areas I found a bit corny but overall I enjoyed it greatly.

It should also be noted however The Punisher is my second favorite comic book character (Batman is first) and I went in there with the mind set that because it was a Punisher movie it could do no wrong.

SPOILER ALERT:

Close to the end one of the main characters blurts out that her husband and herself used to argue whether he (punisher) was a good guy or bad guy... THAT'S IT! no explanation as to why the hell she just said that! ...

When she told him that in the way she said it I took it as [spoiler:afc05bf67f]her giving him closure on accidentally killing her husband. Especially considering how bad it was beating him up on the inside that he made the mistake.[/spoiler:afc05bf67f]

That is just how I took it tho, I could be way off.

Ray Stevenson was awesome. The only problem was the rest of the movie.

I bought it on Blu-Ray yesterday and love it just as much as I did in the theaters. :P

You are all that is soulless and wrong with the world!

I cannot help it, I just love The Punisher. :(

In all fairness I am a terrible judge for if the movie was good or not. My mind was already made up the first time I saw it in theaters (I went back four times) that it was one of the best movies of the year. :P

...My god... how did you not tell that was a big piece of shit. My mind was made up as to why the last actor walked off the set once I saw half of that movie.

Your a big punisher fan eh? want to buy the hords of Punisher comic book and card sets I have? I have at least a dozen of the P.O.V. books and the entire scratch and sniff card set... without the scratch and sniff cards.

Damn you and your temptations.

If the offer is still open in a few months once things around here are more "stable" I might talk to you about it. Right now despite what my inner Marvel nerd is telling me, I have more important priorities. :P

Isn't P.O.V. the mini-series where the Punisher fights a hippy bomber terrorist who gets mutated into an unstoppable vampire and then falls in love with a monster squid baby?

Man, Punisher comics sucked back then.

The 1st one is cool, I watched it about 5 times. This Warzone was more like a Batman movie. The acting, the evil characters. Maybe it's ok, but I didn't like it.

:)

Considering the fact, that it's a low-budget movie directed by a female German kick-boxer, I say it was more than fucking awesome. I watched it three times, and Ray just nailed the look. For a first attempt it's pretty awesome. And better than both previous movies. Lundgren's abomination is unwatchable. And has no emblem. Enough with the soppy 'with great power comes great responsibility' bullshit. And (spoiler) that parkour crap rightly deserves a rocket in the face.
